Colonel Trench is the COG officer who takes military command of Kalona as the Locust break through. He is written as a hard-liner and appears in the second act of the Campaign. Almost everything published about him comes out of one scene, so this is a short page until more is confirmed.

Command of Kalona
Trench takes military command of the city during the emergence, which puts him straight into conflict with Kalona's civil authority. He appears in a strategy briefing with the city's exhausted mayor, and the scene is built as a clash of priorities: she fights to protect Kalona's civilians, he runs the war. The mayor has not been named in any official material and is not named here.
The briefing sits in the same stretch of the campaign as Bravo Squad's assembly at City Hall, covered on Campaign Acts and Chapters. Trench is not part of the squad and does not fight alongside it in anything shown so far.
What He Says
Two of his lines are known from that scene. He refers to bringing the Hammer online, and he speculates that the UIR may be behind the attack. The second reads as characterisation rather than information: this is early enough that nobody has a correct answer, and a career officer reaching for the enemy he already knows is the point of it.
On the first, the same material names Adam Fenix, listed as Marcus Fenix's next of kin, as a noted war veteran and the creator of the Hammer of Dawn. What Trench intends to do with it, and whether it happens, have not been published.
