The Gears of War: E-Day Collector's Edition is the physical collector package for the game, built around a diorama statue of Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago and a set of physical collectibles tied to the story. The Carlos Santiago Tags
The replica tags are the piece with the most direct story connection. Carlos Santiago is Dom's older brother and Marcus's best friend, and he died in combat just before the Pendulum Wars ended. His death sits underneath the relationship between the two leads at the start of the campaign, so the tags are a physical object from the game's central loss rather than a generic prop.

The SteelBook case is illustrated by Luke Preece, who also produced artwork for the custom controller programme and the guitar collaboration covered on Limited Edition Controllers and Merchandise.
