Zarcone is one of the clearer examples of a unit the player meets across more than one campaign. He is the boss of the fourth chapter of the Fox route's first Part, and he appears again on the Wolf route, which means Cai and Theodora both face him in their own versions of the same tournament. He is also listed among the playable cast, so the clan is one of the rival entries whose leader can be won over.
Route | Where | Class Fought In |
|---|---|---|
Fox | Part 1, Chapter 4 | |
Wolf | Later in the route; the chapter has not been published | Not published |
The class listed against a boss is the class they are fought in rather than a fixed identity, so Gladiator describes how he appears on those maps and not necessarily what he starts as if recruited. Classes covers the distinction.
The clan is one of several revealed through its leader alone. Its name has been rendered three ways in circulated roster material, as Gaia's Brigadiers, as the Gaia Brigadiers and as the Gaia Brigade; this wiki uses the first. No other member of the clan has been named, and nothing has been published about where it comes from or what it wants out of the tournament. Factions lists it among the rival entries.
As of September 2026, no official profile, presentation or press release gives Zarcone an age, a homeland, a personal skill, a starting class as a playable unit, or a join point. The bandit upbringing is the only piece of his history on record, and nothing states whether the clan is still tied to the people who raised him.
Gladiator covers the class he is fought in, Factions places his clan among the tournament entries, and Recruitment covers how an opponent becomes an ally.
