Dagda the Great, the empire's first and founding king, is said to have wiped out the People of the White Egg, the ancestors of the Saramis people, and Yu Phas is credited with saving the children who survived. Those survivors are said to have gone on to found a kingdom called Damascar. This account comes from text and dialogue reported out of preview builds rather than from an official summary, so treat it as provisional.
