11 Renown is a standing level that Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave tracks for the player rather than for any one unit. It is not a currency you spend. It is a threshold the game checks in at least three separate places, which is what makes it worth its own page: a party can be strong enough for a fight and still be turned away from a certification exam, a recruit, or a road, because the number behind the player's name is too low.
