Added Hannibal's Trial battle in Chapter 5 of Dietrich's path; updated Elephant Rider tier and unknowns
Hannibal is a boss in Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave, fought during the first Part of the Lion route by Dietrich's clan, House Lamine. The roster files the name among the bosses with no clan banner of their own, and gives it a class and a route and nothing else.

Elephant Rider is listed among the Advanced classes and opens to the player's own units in the first Free Time of Part III, and Anna appears in it elsewhere in the game. A mounted class puts Hannibal in the Cavalry group for the purposes of effectiveness, which means spears and the weapons filed against cavalry hit him harder; Bonus Damage sets out the groups and the multipliers. The class listed against a boss describes how they appear on that map rather than a fixed identity, so nothing here says what Hannibal would start as if he were recruitable. He is not currently listed among the playable cast.
Dietrich's campaign is described as the harder of the early routes and as a mostly linear run of battles with fewer detours than the others, so a boss placed in its first Part sits early in a dense stretch. Routes covers the Lion campaign's shape.
Hannibal is the boss of Chapter 5 of Dietrich's path, The Essence of a Warrior. Before the battle the party has to make its way through the Shadowy Cave dungeon. The battle itself, Hannibal's Trial, opens with an unusual objective: use all of the levers, with defeat if ten turns pass or Dietrich falls. The Elephant Riders on the map cannot be damaged until both switches have been hit.
Once the levers are used, the objective changes to defeating Hannibal and the ten-turn limit no longer applies. Knocking out the Elephant Riders weakens him, so clearing them first makes the boss fight easier.
As of September 2026, no official character profile, presentation or press release has been published for Hannibal. This wiki has not documented his age, homeland, allegiance, personal skill or voice credits, or why House Lamine fights him and what he is defending.
Dietrich leads the clan that fights him, Elephant Rider covers the class he is fought in, and List of Characters indexes him among the bosses outside the clans.
