11 Bonaventure is a playable character in Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave and a general of the Kingdom of Saramis, where he serves as the right hand of Queen Theodora. He carries the title Mastermind of Saramis. He fights for Theodora's clan, Megaira's Beacon, at the Heroic Games. Because the use of writing is forbidden in his kingdom, he has committed its history and its accumulated wisdom to memory.

The Japanese title behind Mastermind reads as Wise General, and the pairing is deliberate: he is the strategist at Theodora's side, while Tobias, her other veteran general, is the strength.

His position there is that a country is its people rather than its territory, that people gather under a king they themselves crown, and that the late Sergio named Theodora his successor because he understood as much. That puts the whole record on individual memory, and Bonaventure is the man carrying it: official profiles introduce him as an expert on Saraminian history and folklore who has memorised the kingdom's history and its wisdom in full. He also enjoys memorising knowledge for its own sake and debating with sages, which makes the burden closer to a vocation than a duty.

Footage of his showcase has him fighting as a Diviner instead, the hybrid role that carries a sword in one hand and casts Reason magic with the other; he is shown with a bronze sword and a Wind spell that is effective against flying units, and he earns proficiency experience for Sword after the fight. Nintendo's profile sums him up as a wielder of blades and magic.
