Removed staff references from build tooling; magic is cast without an implement
11Fatekeeper supports a wide range of viable builds. Every Druid starts with access to both melee weapons and magic; the skill tree is what transforms that flexibility into an identity. This index lists the four officially showcased archetypes and discusses the hybrid space between them.2233Showcased Archetypes44556-BuildCore IdeaPrimary ToolsPyromancerCast-speed fire mage with multi-projectile and ricochet.Fire magic, staves, spell alteration nodes.Ice ShatterFreeze enemies, crush with blunt weapons.Ice magic, maces, hammers, or clubs, Shatter mechanic.Dagger SkirmisherLeaping-dash daggers with boomerang throws.Daggers, dash-into-attack node, throwable dagger node.Consumable AlchemistPermanent consumable buff stack with alchemy.Alchemy, potions, weapon vials.6+BuildCore IdeaPrimary ToolsPyromancerCast-speed fire mage with multi-projectile and ricochet.Fire magic, spell alteration nodes.Ice ShatterFreeze enemies, crush with blunt weapons.Ice magic, maces, hammers, or clubs, Shatter mechanic.Dagger SkirmisherLeaping-dash daggers with boomerang throws.Daggers, dash-into-attack node, throwable dagger node.Consumable AlchemistPermanent consumable buff stack with alchemy.Alchemy, potions, weapon vials.77Hybrid Directions889910-Pyro-Alchemist. Since the July 2026 update, the first node of every major branch is no longer tied to the central starter nodes, so a run can branch into any specialization much earlier, and a Respec potion found in Haven lets a mis-built Druid re-plan; +1 Skill Point potions hidden in the world stretch the budget further. New players are encouraged to read what each branch's minor passives do early in a run, then commit to one major path and one supporting branch by mid-game. Over-investment in a third branch tends to produce thin, jack-of-all-trades Druids.
