Fixed the level cap (25, not 30) and replaced the community-speculation framing of Druid and Monk with the roadmap's own wording
11Your class is the foundation of your character in Farever. There are four classes available in Early Access: Warrior, Mage, Rogue, and Priest. You pick one class when you create your character, and it stays with you. The class you choose defines your initial gameplay direction: it grants access to a set of class skills, determines which weapons and gear you can equip, and gives you a unique resource mechanic that no other class shares.223344Each class also has its own Talent Tree, built around the way that class is meant to play. As you level up, you shape your character further through passives, skill choices, talents, and Masteries that modify your class skills. For a step-by-step look at picking a class and starting out, see Getting Started.5566The Four Classes7788Below is a quick comparison of the four Early Access classes and what makes each one distinct. Each entry links to its full page.991010ClassResourcePlaystyleWarriorRageMelee bruiser who builds Rage by attacking and spends it on signature skills; can flex into a tank role with a sword and shield.MageSpark / Spark FlowsRanged spellcaster who generates Spark Flows with signature abilities to empower spells; Spark regenerates over time.RogueCombo PointsAgile melee fighter who chains combos to build combo points, then spends them on deadly finishers.PriestPrayersFlexible support whose Prayers change based on the skills used before them; heals, fights, and can even tank.1111How Class Shapes Your Build12121313Farever uses a hybrid system: your skills come from your class, your weapons, and your passives together. A single class can be played in very different ways depending on which weapons you bring, and the same weapon feels entirely different in the hands of another class because each class's mechanics reshape how it behaves. Combined with the Arsenal system covered on the Weapons and the Arsenal page, this means two players who pick the same class can end up playing in totally different ways.14141515Roles are flexible rather than locked to a class. The classic Tank, Healer, and DPS trio is supported, but you adopt those roles organically through your choice of skills and gear instead of being forced into one. A Priest, for example, can pick up a sword and shield to help fill a tank role. See Multiplayer and Co-Op for how roles work in a group.16161717More Classes Are Planned181819-The four classes above make up the Early Access roster. Shiro Games has listed additional classes among the planned features for the full release, so the lineup is expected to grow over time. Community discussion has pointed to a Druid and a Monk as classes people hope to see, but these are not confirmed in the current build and should be treated as part of the roadmap rather than playable content today. See Early Access and Roadmap for the latest on what is planned.19+The four classes above make up the Early Access roster. The published Early Access roadmap lists new classes among the additions planned during Early Access, and it names two of them: a Druid and a Monk, with more beyond those two still to be revealed. Neither is in the current build, so treat them as roadmap direction rather than playable content today. See Early Access and Roadmap for the latest on what is planned.20202121Primary Attributes22222323Every class leans on a primary attribute that scales its main form of damage or healing, while Vitality raises maximum health for all four. Gear rolls its stats toward the attribute your class uses, so equipment and class reinforce each other.24242525ClassPrimary AttributeCore OutputWarriorStrengthPhysical melee damageMageIntellectMagic and spell damageRogueDexterityPhysical melee damagePriestFaithHealing and holy damage26-Each class gains signature abilities as it levels, through level 20 in the current build. The June 2026 major update raises the level cap to 30 and adds a level-30 capstone ability for every class. See each class page for its full signature and talent lists.26+Each class gains signature abilities as it levels, with the last of them unlocking at level 20. The Nightling Update raised the level cap to 25 on July 15, 2026 without adding a new signature ability, and each class also carries one further entry in the game's data that no patch has made trainable yet.
