Revision 1

Stina is an original character in Echoes of Aincrad, created for the game rather than carried over from the Sword Art Online novels. She is an exchange student from Sweden who fights with a mace, and she is one of the characters the player can take on quests as a partner.

Official Profile

The official character profile describes Stina as a mace-wielding exchange student from Sweden who is quiet and polite when dealing with other players. The Japanese profile adds that she always uses polite, formal speech whenever she talks to anyone. Her lines on the official roster lean on the same trait: in one she apologises for not being comfortable with the language and says she does not know any other way to talk.

Before launch she was introduced only briefly, as a polite and quiet mace-wielder from Sweden, in the same character introduction that presented Saayu and Musoh.

Role in the Game

Stina is listed on the partner roster covered on the NPC Companions page, which is the place to check for when she becomes available. Like every partner she brings her own Combination Skill and Support Skill, and both are listed on the Combination Skills and Support Skills page. As a mace user she shares a weapon category with Wyzeman and Lisbeth, so the practical difference between the three comes from their skills rather than their reach.
