Expansion DLC
The Expansion DLC is an announced post-launch add-on for Echoes of Aincrad. It is included with the Deluxe Edition and the Ultimate Edition, and it is scheduled to release by December 31, 2026, five to six months after the main game's July 10, 2026 launch.
Content
A new side story set in Aincrad. It is designed to be played after completing the main story of the base game.
Newly added companions beyond the base game's Iori / Wyzeman / Zash / Argo roster.
New encounters and further exploration opportunities on top of the two floors the base game covers.
Battles against stronger enemies tuned for endgame-level characters coming out of the main campaign.
Who It Is For
Because the Expansion DLC's content is designed around a post-main-story character, it is not the content a new player is supposed to run into first. The base game's main campaign is the intended entry point; the Expansion DLC is for players who want more Aincrad after the credits roll.
