Pearl Abyss
Pearl Abyss is the South Korean game studio developing DokeV. They are best known for Black Desert Online and are also the studio behind Crimson Desert, the open-world RPG that launched ahead of DokeV.
Team
Daeil Kim (Pearl Abyss founder) serves as executive producer on DokeV.
Sangyoung Kim (formerly a lead animator on Black Desert Online) is the lead producer.
BlackSpace Engine
DokeV is being built on the BlackSpace Engine, Pearl Abyss's proprietary next-generation engine. It is the same engine technology underpinning other Pearl Abyss projects, which lets DokeV and the studio's other games share a consistent visual and performance baseline.
