In October 2024, Pearl Abyss announced that DokeV would release 'around 18 months after Crimson Desert's launch'. Based on Crimson Desert's own timing, that puts the DokeV window in 2027-2028 rather than earlier.

Platforms

Pearl Abyss has announced DokeV for PC and consoles. Specific current-generation console branding is part of what the studio has said will be confirmed closer to release.

Why After Crimson Desert

Pearl Abyss's stated reason for the timing is studio focus: Crimson Desert launched first, and the team's full attention moves to DokeV's final push once that game has shipped. DokeV has been in pre-release visibility since 2019, but the company has been transparent that Crimson Desert needed to finish its run first.
