Overview
The Blood of Dawnwalker PC system requirements were first published by Rebel Wolves during the Road to Launch livestream on April 28, 2026. On June 23, 2026 the studio released a revised spec sheet after an optimization pass, lowering both the minimum and the recommended targets. The figures below reflect that updated sheet. The studio has published only the minimum and recommended tiers for now and said the more detailed presets, including medium and ultra, will follow later once the final optimization work is done. Every published tier still asks for 16 GB of system RAM, 60 GB of storage on a solid-state drive, and Windows 10 64-bit running DirectX 12. The game runs on Unreal Engine 5.
Minimum
Targets 1080p at 30 FPS on the low preset. The revised minimum drops to an eighth-generation Intel or second-generation Ryzen CPU and a six-gigabyte GPU.
Component | Spec |
|---|---|
CPU | Intel Core i5-11400F or AMD Ryzen 7 2700X |
RAM | 16 GB |
GPU | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 580 |
VRAM | 6 GB (based on the listed GPUs) |
Storage | 60 GB SSD |
OS | Windows 10 64-bit, DirectX 12 |
Recommended
Targets 1080p at 60 FPS on the high preset. The revised recommended GPU pairing now centers on the RTX 4060 class rather than the higher-end cards listed in April.
Component | Spec |
|---|---|
CPU | Intel Core i7-11700K or AMD Ryzen 7 5700X |
RAM | 16 GB |
GPU | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060, AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT, or Intel Arc B580 |
VRAM | 8 GB or more (based on the listed GPUs) |
Storage | 60 GB SSD |
OS | Windows 10 64-bit, DirectX 12 |
More Presets Coming
The June 23 update covers only the minimum and recommended targets. The studio stated it would share more detailed system requirements and presets, including medium and ultra tiers, at a later date once the final optimization processes are complete. Until those are published, there is no confirmed spec for the higher presets. The earlier April 28 sheet listed separate recommended-1440p, ultra-1440p, and ultra-4K columns, but the June optimization pass replaced that breakdown with the two-tier minimum-and-recommended sheet shown above, so the older high-end figures no longer reflect the current targets.
Upscaling and Frame Generation
The studio confirmed that both DLSS and FSR are supported. Upscaling and frame generation help push higher resolutions and frame rates beyond what the native spec tiers list, which is one reason the optimization pass was able to bring the published minimum and recommended hardware down.
Notes for PC Players
A solid-state drive is expected, and the 60 GB install size has stayed consistent across every published tier. The studio has framed the recommended tier as the target most players should plan around. Because only the minimum and recommended tiers are published right now, players aiming for 1440p ultra or 4K should wait for the more detailed preset breakdown before judging the hardware they will need.
The release date was reconfirmed alongside the June update: the game launches September 3, 2026. See Reveal Timeline for a full list of reveal beats and Bandai Namco Partnership for edition contents and pre-order bonus details.
Console Versions
The Blood of Dawnwalker also launches simultaneously on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on September 3, 2026. Console performance and resolution targets have not been broken out into separate tiers; the team has only stated that the console builds run on the same Unreal Engine 5 build as PC.
