Overview
Father Florin is the priest serving the church in Laslea, Coen's home village in Vale Sangora. Rebel Wolves introduced him in a developer bulletin about the relationships Coen builds through the game, alongside Marat, Lacra and Anca.
The Church in Laslea
The church is described as a place of community gathering, where villagers seek comfort, trade whispers and hold on to their faith. Under Florin it functions as more than that. He watches the congregation closely and treats what he sees as worth recording.
The Diary
Florin keeps a diary in which he tracks the people around him: their habits, their fears, and the subtle changes in their behaviour as the valley moves toward what the studio calls a new dawn. The developers have framed the diary as a player-facing thread rather than background colour. Small details accumulate across entries, and together they hint that something in the village is no longer as it should be, with the game inviting the player to follow those hints and find out what.
Scope
Everything confirmed about Father Florin so far comes from pre-launch developer material. His role in the wider story, whether he can be spoken to, and how his diary is surfaced in play have not been detailed.
