The Sydmon Kite Shield can be found alongside other pieces of equipment near the Castlewood Ruins. Players should explore the area surrounding the ruins and check for loot containers or ground pickups to locate the shield.

It may also be craftable at a blacksmith, though the required materials have not been documented. Merchant availability has not been confirmed.

Core Slots

The two core slots on the Sydmon Kite Shield allow players to customize it with Abyss Cores for additional combat bonuses tailored to their build. Since shields primarily serve a defensive role, slotting defensive or utility cores (such as additional resistance or stamina recovery) can complement the shield's mobility focus. Cores can be embedded or swapped at any witch NPC at no cost.
