Cost | 30 Stamina |
Input | R1 + X |

Prerequisites | None |
Press R1 + X to dodge an attack and strike quickly. This evasive strike allows Damiane to avoid incoming damage while simultaneously counterattacking.

Sword Flurry is one of Damiane's core melee tools because it combines defense and offense. Time the input just as an enemy attacks to dodge the hit and land a counter. Upgrade it to Sword Flurry Proficiency for enhanced follow-up strikes. The 30 Stamina cost is moderate, making it sustainable in extended fights.

Sword Flurry is a dodge-strike: the dodge frames activate at the start of the animation, then Damiane transitions into a fast sword slash. Because the dodge comes first, you can input it as an enemy swing telegraphs, and the built-in invincibility frames will carry you through the incoming attack before the slash lands.
The Stamina cost is 30 per use, which is noticeably lower than the 40 of Smiting Bolt. This makes Sword Flurry sustainable as a repeated response to enemy pressure rather than a one-off burst. Use it as Damiane's default punish tool whenever a boss or elite commits to a slow animation.

Sword Flurry pairs well with Smiting Strike Proficiency, which lets you cancel the tail of the Sword Flurry animation into a Smiting Strike. The sequence - dodge, slash, smite - turns a single opening into a three-part punish that burns down elite health bars quickly. Against elemental-weak enemies, add an Imbue Element effect to boost the final smite.
