Skewer is unlocked by raising Piercing Light to Level 2 in Damiane's Stamina (Blue) skill tree. It can also be learned through the Watch and Learn system by observing an enemy perform the technique during combat.
Skewer impales the targeted enemy on Damiane's rapier, pinning them in place and rendering them temporarily immobile. The impaled enemy takes damage and cannot move or attack while pinned, creating a window for follow-up attacks or for repositioning.
The skill is activated by holding R1 + Triangle and consumes Stamina. Skewer is exclusive to Damiane and leverages her rapier's piercing capability for precise, targeted damage. The pinning effect is particularly valuable in one-on-one duels and against dangerous individual enemies.
According to Fextralife, Skewer's activation involves moving after a successful charged Piercing Light rather than a separate button press. The 50 Stamina cost is paid on top of Piercing Light's own cost, so the full combo demands careful Stamina management. The sprinting pin animation covers a short distance, dragging the impaled enemy along before Damiane releases them.
Use Skewer to immobilize a dangerous enemy while you deal with their allies, then finish off the pinned target afterward.
The pinning effect creates a guaranteed damage window. Follow up Skewer with Damiane's strongest attacks while the enemy cannot retaliate.
Against fast-moving enemies that are difficult to hit consistently, Skewer's immobilization stops their evasive patterns.
Pair Skewer with Uppercut for a Piercing Light combo chain: charge Piercing Light, launch with Uppercut, then pin with Skewer.
In group encounters, Skewer one enemy to remove them from the fight temporarily while you focus on the others.
