Reclaiming Pailune is a victory, but the celebration must wait. As long as the Black Bears remain strong, the homeland is not truly free. The Greymanes need to regroup and prepare for the final showdown at Silverwolf Mountain. This is a brief story mission consisting of a single cutscene.
Return to the house where the Ludvig boss fight took place. Walk inside and approach your comrades gathered in the room. A cutscene triggers, completing the quest. The conversation focuses on the next step: assaulting the Black Bears' mountain stronghold.
Before proceeding to the Decisive Battle sub-chapter, take advantage of the newly liberated Pailune:
Ring the bell in Pailune to unfog the region and reveal the surrounding map details.
Unlock the fast travel point located slightly north of town.
Stock up on healing items. Hunt animals in the surrounding woodlands and cook them at the pot in Pailune's southern soldier encampment. You should have 100 or more Grilled Meat for the upcoming boss fights on Silverwolf Mountain.
The Decisive Battle sub-chapter that follows is a continuous gauntlet of quests from The Counterattack through Battle at Silverwolf Mountain. Opportunities to restock are limited once it begins.
Take the time now to upgrade your weapons and armor if you have collected enough materials. The Myurdin boss fight at the end of Silverwolf Mountain is one of the toughest in the game.
Save your progress before starting this quest, especially if you are playing on a higher difficulty setting.
Late-game quests ramp up in difficulty significantly. Make sure your equipment is fully enhanced and your consumable stock is replenished before entering each new quest.
