Queen's Fangs is a Unique Abyss Gear in Crimson Desert. When activated, it sprays spider venom forward in a spread pattern, dealing damage to all enemies hit. The venom applies a brief poison effect that deals damage over time, visible as purple globs dripping from affected enemies.
Queen's Fangs is activated by holding Skill 3. At close range, all three projectiles can hit a single target simultaneously, making it surprisingly effective in boss fights when you can get up close. The abyss gear is especially potent when paired with polearm charge stab combos, since every charge stab triggers the effect and the quick follow-up pokes allow for rapid re-activation.

There are two ways to get Queen's Fangs:
Queen Spider Boss: Defeat the Queen Spider at Arboria Castle during the House Celeste faction quest "Restarting the Elixir Factory." This quest becomes available relatively early in the Hernand faction progression.
Crafting: Can be crafted at any Witch vendor using Destruction I x1, Insight I x1, Vitality I x1, and Composure I x1.
Queen's Fangs works particularly well in polearm builds centered around the charge stab mechanic. With a halberd equipped, the light attack combo transitions into a stab that triggers all equipped Unique Abyss Gears. Since the charge stab can be chained repeatedly (light attack triple poke into stab, then repeat), Queen's Fangs fires its poison spray on every stab in the chain. This creates a constant stream of poison damage on top of the stab's base damage.
Pairing Queen's Fangs with other stab-triggered gears like Piercing Bloom and Crow Storm creates a devastating combo where each charge stab triggers multiple unique effects simultaneously.
Stand as close as possible to your target so all three venom projectiles connect with the same enemy.
The poison damage over time stacks with direct weapon damage, making this gear effective even when individual hits seem small.
Queen's Fangs is one of the more accessible Unique Abyss Gears since the House Celeste quest line becomes available fairly early in Hernand.

When Queen's Fang is equipped, every stab attack performed with the socketed weapon carries a poison payload. Normal stabs apply a small amount of poison buildup to the target. The real power comes from charged stabs: performing a charged stab causes a forward poison spray that hits enemies in a cone in front of the player. This spray deals immediate damage on contact and applies a stronger poison lingering effect that continues dealing damage over several seconds.
The poison lingering effect stacks with repeated applications, meaning that landing multiple charged stabs in succession ramps up the total damage-over-time significantly. Against bosses with large health pools, this sustained poison pressure can contribute substantial damage over the course of a fight.
Like all Abyss Cores, Queen's Fang must be equipped through Elowen the Witch, who provides Abyss Gear services after completing the Witch of Wisdom questline. To equip Queen's Fang, visit Elowen and select "Create Socket" to add a weapon socket if your weapon does not already have one. Then select "Embed Abyss Gear" and choose Queen's Fang from your inventory. The core occupies one weapon socket and can be swapped out later if you want to try a different Abyss Core.
Queen's Fang performs best on weapons that have strong stab attacks in their movesets. The poison application is tied specifically to stab-type attacks, so weapons with few or no stab moves will not benefit much from this core.
Spears are the ideal pairing for Queen's Fang. Spears have multiple stab attacks built into their basic combo chains, including a rapid six-thrust assault when chaining basic attacks into the Stab skill with correct timing. Every thrust in that chain can apply poison, making spears the highest-throughput option for poison buildup. The spear's natural reach also keeps you at a safe distance while stacking poison on the target.
Some one-handed swords include forward thrust attacks in their combo strings. While not as stab-focused as spears, one-handed swords benefit from Queen's Fang on those specific moves. The faster overall attack speed of one-handed swords can compensate for having fewer stab opportunities per combo.
Most two-handed swords are slash-oriented rather than stab-oriented, which means Queen's Fang provides less value on these weapons. If your primary weapon is a two-handed sword, consider a different Abyss Core that benefits from slash or overhead attacks instead.
Queen's Fang fills a specific niche as a sustained damage-over-time augment. Unlike Abyss Cores that provide flat stat increases or burst damage modifiers, Queen's Fang rewards consistent aggression with stab attacks. It is most effective in longer fights where the cumulative poison damage has time to add up, such as boss encounters and elite enemy fights.
For players who prefer burst-oriented playstyles or use weapons that rely on slash and overhead attacks, other Abyss Cores may be a better fit. However, for spear users and anyone who leans into stab-heavy combat, Queen's Fang is one of the best Abyss Cores available.

The following community rating comes from the Abyss Gears Tier List YouTube ranking guide, which scores every Abyss Gear out of 30 across three pillars: damage, usability, and utility. The breakdown below reflects that creator's opinion on Queen's Fangs, not an objective measurement from the game's data files. Treat the scores as a useful reference for build decisions, then test the gear in your own loadout.
Tier breakpoints used by the guide: S covers 25 to 30 points, A covers 20 to 24, B covers 15 to 19, C covers 10 to 14, D covers anything under 10, and F is reserved for the lowest scorers under 8.
Damage: 7 out of 10. The reviewer notes the tick damage actually adds up to a high total when the hits connect cleanly.
Usability: 6 out of 10. Landing the gear cleanly is harder than with most sprint heavy options because the activation is on the slower side compared to attacking normally.
Utility: 6 out of 10. The drawn-out tick damage gives it some pressure value but nothing standout in terms of Crowd Control or knockback.
Total: 19 out of 30. B tier (top of B).
Queen's Fangs is the highest-rated sprint heavy Abyss Gear in the guide, but it sits at the top of B tier rather than reaching A or S. The trade is real damage in exchange for slower activation, so it shines most when you have the breathing room to set up a clean hit. Compared to Piercing Bloom in the same slot, Queen's Fangs is the heavier damage option, while Piercing Bloom leans on range and Crowd Control. Pick whichever fits your playstyle: if you commit to sprint heavies for damage rather than control, this is the one to slot.
