Pollengarth Apiary is a beekeeping operation located in the Hernand region of Crimson Desert. Built between a flower-rich meadow and a dense forest, the apiary is operated in an ideal location for gathering diverse pollen. The beekeepers here blend different honeys to create a distinctive flavor that has earned a reputation across the duchy.
The apiary sits in the countryside of the Hernand region, positioned between open meadows rich with wildflowers and the edge of a thick forest. This placement gives the bees access to a wide variety of pollen sources, which is central to the honey's unique flavor profile. The apiary is near the route connecting the City of Hernand to the surrounding rural areas.

Pollengarth Apiary is connected to two Hernand Commissions faction quests:
This quest begins by picking up Ugmon's poster from a Notice Board in the City of Hernand. Ugmon, who runs the Goldleaf Guildhouse near Unicorn Cliff, explains that his honey (known for its rich fragrance and balanced sweetness) has been receiving customer complaints about bad taste. He sends Kliff to Pollengarth Apiary to investigate. At the apiary, the Beekeeper reveals that he has not received other complaints and suspects the issue is with storage conditions after the honey leaves the apiary, not with the honey production itself. Kliff then reports these findings to Ugmon's assistant at the Emberwind Workshop.

This quest begins when you find a Honey Deliveryman near the apiary who has been captured by bandits trying to steal honey intended for delivery. After rescuing the deliveryman by defeating the bandits, he asks you to escort him to the Emberwind Shop. You then return to the Beekeeper at Pollengarth Apiary to inform him about the incident.

Beyond its role in quests, Pollengarth Apiary is one of the most useful farming spots in southern Hernand because the hives here let you collect bees in bulk. Run past the hives scattered around the apiary and hold square (or the equivalent gather button on other platforms) to make Kliff auto-collect a large stack of bees in moments. There is no combat requirement and no cooldown, so a single lap around the property can fill your inventory.
Once you have bees in your inventory, they can be used as swarm items in combat or stealth situations. Dropping a single bee releases a full swarm, not just one insect. The swarm spreads quickly through an enclosed space and drives any nearby NPCs into a panic.
The most practical use is crowd control without bloodshed. Drop one swarm in a room full of NPCs, for example inside a bank or shop, and they will scatter and flee in fear. While they are busy running from the bees you can walk up to valuables and steal them without being detected, which avoids losing reputation or gaining a criminal tag.
Keep your deployment to one or two swarms at a time. Any more than that and the bees begin dealing damage to the NPCs they attack, which flags Kliff with an assault wanted level. The damage output of a swarm is extremely high: it can one-shot even trained guards because the sting damage is so severe. A room cleared by a single swarm is usually enough for a silent theft, while multiple swarms will turn the situation into a crime scene.
Players who plan on using swarms routinely should pursue the House Grace quest line. Progressing through House Grace eventually rewards the Beekeeping Suit, a body armor piece that grants immunity to bee stings. With the suit equipped, you no longer risk being caught in your own swarm if a fight turns messy, and you can farm hives at Pollengarth Apiary without losing health to aggressive bees.
Both quests tied to Pollengarth Apiary are Hernand Commissions that become available during Chapter 3.
The Ugmon's Request quest chain requires visiting three locations: the Goldleaf Guildhouse, Pollengarth Apiary, and the Emberwind Workshop.
Watch out for Fundamentalist Goblins in the area when traveling to the apiary.
