Nature's Grasp is a utility skill in Crimson Desert, available to Kliff and Damiane. It belongs to the Spirit (Green) branch of the skill tree. Nature's Grasp allows the character to lift or move heavy objects in the environment, making it essential for solving Abyss puzzles and clearing blocked paths throughout the world of Pywel.

When standing near a movable object (highlighted with an interaction prompt), pressing Triangle + Circle causes the character to grab and lift it using a nature-based energy. The player can then reposition the object, carry it to a new location, or throw it. The skill targets large rocks, crates, pillars, and other environmental objects that block paths or are needed for puzzle solutions.
Nature's Grasp costs 40 Stamina per use, which is a significant portion of the Stamina bar at low levels. Players who plan to use it frequently for exploration should invest in Stamina upgrades to ensure they can still dodge and sprint after using the skill.
Nature's Grasp is required for many Abyss puzzles, where heavy objects need to be placed on pressure plates, stacked to create platforms, or moved to unblock doorways. It is also used in several overworld puzzles, such as:
Clearing boulder blockages in caves and mountain passes
Moving objects onto pressure plates to activate bridges and doors in Abyss areas
Stacking crates to reach elevated platforms during exploration
Removing debris blocking treasure chests and hidden areas
While primarily an exploration tool, Nature's Grasp has limited combat utility. Objects lifted with Nature's Grasp can be thrown at enemies for improvised damage. The thrown object deals physical damage based on its size and can stagger smaller enemies. However, this is rarely more efficient than dedicated combat skills, so Nature's Grasp is best reserved for puzzle-solving and exploration outside of fights.
Nature's Grasp sits within a family of nature-themed Spirit abilities. While not direct upgrades, these related skills share the same thematic branch:
Skill | Effect | Unlock Method |
|---|---|---|
Nature's Grasp | Lift and move heavy objects | |
Root enemies in place with vines | Watch and Learn | |
Reflect projectiles back at enemies | Watch and Learn | |
Create illusions that replicate your attacks | Watch and Learn |
Kliff learns Nature's Grasp early in Chapter 2, right before learning Focus. Both skills are taught during the same quest sequence.
The 40 Stamina cost means you may not have enough left to dodge immediately after using the skill. Clear nearby enemies before grabbing objects in dangerous areas.
Look for glowing outlines on objects to identify what can be manipulated with Nature's Grasp.
Some Abyss puzzles require precise placement. Drop objects gently rather than throwing them to avoid knocking them off ledges.
