Quest Details

Overview

Witnesses claim that the Jackals and Black Bears are now operating independently. Since the main force cannot be spared for a full-scale manhunt, Oongka decides to pursue Ludvig with only a small, elite group. This is a short dialogue quest that sets up the chapter's final confrontation.

Walkthrough

Meet Duane and Shane

Navigate to the town located southeast of Pailune. When you arrive, approach Duane and Shane who are waiting at the meeting point. A cutscene triggers, and the quest completes once the conversation ends.

Tips

• This is a brief quest with no combat. Use the travel time to practice Oongka's controls if you have not done so already.

• The next quest, Time to Face Justice, contains the final boss fight of Chapter 7. Before heading to the objective, make sure Oongka is properly equipped.

• If Oongka's inventory is sparse, hunt animals near Pailune or Beighen and cook Grilled Meat at an available pot. You will want 100 or more for the upcoming fight.

Tips and Strategies

• Save your progress before starting this quest, especially if you are playing on a higher difficulty setting.

• Late-game quests ramp up in difficulty significantly. Make sure your equipment is fully enhanced and your consumable stock is replenished before entering each new quest.
