Frozen Heart Plate Armor is a Mythical Plate Armor body armor piece in Crimson Desert. A silver plate armor modeled after the Machina Knight, crafted with inspiration from the Machina Knight's strong appearance. The cold, gleaming metal surface reveals the wearer's dignity and ruthlessness. Its unwavering defense allows the wearer to focus on attacking.

This item can be found as loot in the open world or obtained through specific quests and encounters.
Plate armor offers the highest defense values in the game but comes with the heaviest weight, sitting above Chain Mail, Leather Armor, and Cloth Armor in terms of protection.
Equipment can be improved through the Refinement System at a Blacksmith.
The Frozen Heart Plate Armor is the reward hidden inside Hidden Treasure Map Piece 7. It is found at Delia Castle. From the castle, cross the bridge inside and turn left right through the area. Once you pass through, turn around and look back at the wall you just came through. You will see a giant square treasure wall. Use Force Palm on the wall to break it open, then enter to collect the armor.
When using a Lantern near the wall, the lantern will vibrate and display a force palm icon, confirming that this is the correct spot to break open. This visual cue was added in Patch 1.02 to help players locate and identify treasure walls more easily.
The Frozen Heart Plate Armor comes pre-rolled with Defense +6 on the item already, along with a bonus to Health and a 10% chance to mine additional aura. The combination of base defense, health, and the aura mining bonus makes it a strong early-game pickup that rewards players who go out of their way to solve the treasure map.
Compared to other early-game chest armors, the Frozen Heart Plate Armor offers above-average defense for its tier and stacks an extra utility effect through the aura mining chance. Because it is tied to a single hidden treasure map rather than a crafting chain or quest line, players who find it early can skip the usual grind and equip a competitive chest piece long before most standard armor upgrades become available.

The chest piece is hidden deep inside Delicia Castle. Before heading to the main gate, equip the Vigione Helmet. The guards on duty wear the same helmet type, so wearing it lets you pass the inspection without a fight. Any other helmet will trigger a confrontation.
From the fast travel point just outside the city, jump down the cliff and run straight toward the main gate. Slip past the guards, and once inside the courtyard, turn immediately left to skirt around a giant mechanical walker. Keep following the wall until you spot a stack of wooden crates pushed up against it.
Above those crates is a suspicious wall panel. Press L2 to grip the panel, then use the R3 button to rotate it. The wall opens up into a hidden alcove, and the chest containing the Frozen Heart Plate Armor sits inside.
The full set is tied to the Mechanite side boss storyline. While this chest piece can be looted before you finish the main plot, the cloak half of the set only drops during Chapter 11, Truth and Reality. See the Forbidden Gatekeeper quest for details on unlocking the matching cloak.
Dye vendors can restyle this chest piece. Using a shinier material makes it fully metallic instead of the default rusted finish, and upgrading its repair level hides the weathered patches that come standard.
