Bloodwind takes Kliff out of Hernand and into the Demeniss region for the first time in Chapter 5. The trail of the feathered man ended at a west church, already a scene of carnage. After a brief battle, the Crowcaller flees, promising to wait at a location better suited for a final stand.
Stock up on Grilled Meat before heading out. The boss fight at the end of this quest is not the hardest encounter, but having 50+ healing items makes it comfortable. You can buy raw meat from the vendor in Hernand and cook it at the pot next to the vendor.
Follow the quest marker into central Demeniss, north of the "M" in "DEMENISS" on your world map. You will find a courtyard littered with bodies. Approaching the scene triggers a cutscene.
After the cutscene, a group of hostile soldiers attacks. Clear them out before the main event begins.
The Crowcaller engages you in single combat with one health bar. Compared to Kearush from the Demenissian Delegation quest, this fight is much more manageable. The Crowcaller relies on fast sword strikes and evasive movement.
The most effective strategy is to parry his attacks with L1 / LB and then follow up with a light attack combo. He tends to attack in predictable two- to three-hit chains, making parry timing consistent. After landing your counter-combo, back off and wait for his next attack sequence. Repeat this pattern until he goes down.
Unlike Kearush, parrying works well against the Crowcaller. Use it.
He will flee after this encounter. Do not expect a definitive conclusion here; the final showdown comes in Toward the Nest.
The courtyard area has some lootable containers. Check around the edges before moving on.
