Spoiler notice: this page covers Simon Arish's part in the early main story of Control Resonant, up to the briefing that opens the Power Lines and Into the Sinkhole quests. It does not cover later events.
Simon Arish is a Federal Bureau of Control figure in Control Resonant, voiced by Ronan Summers. He is one of the named Bureau personnel from the first game who return in Resonant. His history in that game is out of scope for this page, which covers only what Resonant itself shows.

Seven Years in the Oldest House
Remedy's own promotion describes Arish through the time he lost. A short video the studio published on September 15, 2026 carries the caption "7 long years locked inside the Oldest House has changed Simon Arish". Resonant itself is set roughly seven years after the first game. As of September 27, 2026, the official site has no character profile for him; it profiles only Dylan, Jesse and Zoe.
Role in the Early Story
Guides to the released game describe Arish's first appearance in the main quest Evacuation Procedures. The FBC's Evac Site in the Evacuation Zone has been overrun, and Hiss tremors are coming from the building. Dylan fights his way into the Evac Building, finds Arish alive inside and has to get him out. Arish hands Dylan a Level 2 keycard, which raises his security clearance and opens the doors that need it.
The next main quest, which guides to the released game call Arish's Briefing, takes place back at the FBC Field Office in Central. The tremors could not be stopped at the evacuation site, and Arish sets out a plan for dealing with them. The briefing opens two main quests, Power Lines and Into the Sinkhole, which can be played in either order. In Power Lines, a maintenance team sent to reroute power through the subway stations has disappeared, and Arish wants Dylan to finish the job. The wider quest structure is on the Quests page, and the enemies behind the tremors are covered on The Hiss.
Voice and Performance
Ronan Summers plays Simon Arish. The credit was confirmed in the fifth and final development diary, published on September 10, 2026, which introduced the game's cast and carried a spoiler warning from Remedy. The story trailer published in early June 2026 had already shown that Arish returns, alongside Emily Pope and Dr. Casper Darling.
What This Page Does Not Cover
Arish's history in the first Control is not covered here, and neither is his part in the story after that briefing. This page will be extended as the rest of his role is documented.
