Updated: Xbox Series X|S and PS5 officially confirmed at FGS Spring Showcase 2026; updated system requirements; added language support details
Blight: Survival will launch on three platform families. Console support was officially confirmed at the Future Games Show: Spring Showcase 2026 on March 12, 2026.
Platform | Status | Details |
|---|---|---|
PC (Steam) | Confirmed | Steam App ID 1774880. The game has been on Steam since 2022. Primary development platform |
Xbox Series X|S | Confirmed | Officially announced at Future Games Show: Spring Showcase 2026 |
PlayStation 5 | Confirmed | Officially announced at Future Games Show: Spring Showcase 2026 |
Mac / Linux | Not planned | No announcements or developer statements suggesting support |
Nintendo Switch | Not planned | The game's Unreal Engine 5 requirements make Switch support unlikely |
Before the March 2026 confirmation, the developers had described console support as something they wanted but could not promise, since it required establishing partnerships with Xbox and PlayStation. The Future Games Show appearance upgraded both to confirmed platforms.
The Steam store page lists minimum and recommended specifications. These may change before final release, since the game is still in active development. For a detailed breakdown, see the System Requirements article.
Component | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
OS | Windows 7 SP1+ (64-bit) | Windows 10+ (64-bit) |
Processor | Intel Core i5-3470 / AMD FX 4350 | Not yet specified |
Memory | 4 GB RAM | Not yet specified |
Graphics | GTX 670 / Radeon HD 7870 | Not yet specified |
Storage | 20 GB | Not yet specified |
These minimum specs are surprisingly modest for an Unreal Engine 5 title. They may reflect early placeholder values that will be revised as the game nears launch and optimization work progresses.
Blight: Survival runs on Unreal Engine 5. The game uses Quixel Megascans for photorealistic environmental textures and MetaHumans for character creation and customization. World Partition handles the large-scale environments of No Man's Land. For a detailed look at the visual approach, see Art and Visuals.
The game supports 1 to 4 players in co-op PvE. An offline mode is confirmed for solo players who want to play without an internet connection. Full controller support is planned. Cross-platform play has not been confirmed or denied.
Steam lists Blight: Survival with a mature content warning for frequent violence, gore, and general mature themes. An official ESRB or PEGI rating has not been assigned yet.
The Steam page lists 16 supported languages: English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Spanish (Spain), Spanish (Latin America), Portuguese (Brazil), Italian, Swedish, Polish, Ukrainian, and Turkish.
