Every Aniimo carries a passive Trait that is always active while it fights alongside a Pathfinder.
Trait | Effect |
|---|---|
Tidal Heart | While in water terrain or after absorbing water, increases Water damage by 20% for 10s. |
Shelly brings 2 combat skills and 1 innate skill into a fight. Power is the skill's published damage figure and Cost is what it draws from the resource bar.
Skill | Type | Power | Cost | Effect |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Torrent Slam | Combat | 47 | 20 | Strikes the target with a shell. If there’s a water environment nearby, activates puddles within the hit range to deal additional damage equal to 30% Might and increase Damage Amp by 15% for 20s. |
Hydro Roll | Combat | 83 | 20 | Continuously consumes stamina to roll forward and ram targets, dealing damage and restoring stamina over time. Creates a puddle when the roll ends. Stamina can be restored this way at most once every 3s. |
ATK | Innate | 6 | 0 | Wields the power of water to attack targets at close range. |
Search the coastal groups and the small island just offshore in Echoback Landing. One marked encounter is a Blessed Shelly; other nearby points contain pairs or groups. These are places to search rather than guaranteed catches.
Evolution | Requirement |
|---|---|
Shelly to Sheldon | Raise Shelly to level 29. |
Raise Sheldon to level 39 and unlock the evolution by defeating Young Omega Sherro during Stars and the Knight. Check the evolution menu for the Wave Stone cost. |
To start Stars and the Knight, Twine with Susuta and go to the sand south of Beachside Sandbars in Echoback Landing. Dig at the shining spots and speak to the Shelly you uncover. Follow the quest through the Young Omega Sherro fight to unlock the final evolution.
Torrent Slam can activate puddles in its hit area for extra damage and a temporary Damage Amp increase. Hydro Roll supplies a puddle when the roll ends, so it can set up the next slam. Keep the existing skill costs and stamina limits in mind before repeating the sequence.
