Nova City (also known as Nova Inception Urbs) is the primary setting of Ananta. It is a sprawling, sun-soaked coastal metropolis roughly comparable in size to Manhattan, serving as home to both humans and supernatural beings.

Overview

Nova City is a vibrant urban environment that blends distinct Japanese urban flourishes with global contemporary design elements. The city features diverse districts ranging from neon-lit nightlife areas to serene parks, each with its own character and activities. Every corner of the city holds stories waiting to be discovered.

City Design

The city was built with the philosophy that 'if you see it, you should be able to do it.' This means interactive environments where players can engage with basketball courts, open doors, and explore virtually every visible location. The Urban Density System ensures the city grows more complex over time, with new shops, venues, and activities added to existing districts.

Living World

Nova City operates on a revolutionary 24/7 NPC Cycle where non-player characters follow realistic daily routines. Day-night cycles alter NPC behaviors - shop owners open and close their stores, citizens commute to work, and nightlife venues come alive after dark. NPCs also react dynamically to player actions and Chaos incidents.

Nova City contains several distinct areas including:

• Delirium Block - An artistic district known for street art and creative expression

• Dream Garden - An upscale venue managed by Aileen

• Various commercial and residential districts with unique atmospheres

Transportation

The city features comprehensive transportation options including a functional Subway System for fast travel, public buses, taxis, and personal vehicles. Players can also traverse the city using parkour, wall-climbing, and grappling mechanics.

Government

Nova City is led by Prime Minister Lykaia Reign, who also serves as Director of the Nova City Crime Agency. The Anti-Chaos Directorate handles supernatural threats while regular law enforcement deals with conventional crime.
