Longqi Village is the rural entry among the Chongxiao locations published on August 25, 2026 with the Gamescom 2026 announcement. It is a small town of white brick walls and black-tiled roofs that has kept the customs and lifestyle of an earlier era, and it is the first non-urban settlement ANANTA has shown.
The Setting
The official description pitches the village as a place to go when the modern pace becomes too much, and frames arrival two ways: as a holiday, or as visiting family. Either way, the text says, you are welcomed with open arms. That phrasing matters because it places Longqi in the same category as Chongxiao itself, somewhere the player character has an existing connection to rather than somewhere newly discovered.
The tagline given to the location is a legacy of tea, which is the only economic detail attached to it. Store copy for the game separately describes quiet tea towns as one of the environment types the player explores, so the village is representative of a category rather than a one-off.
A Note on the Two Language Versions
The Chinese-language version of the same description ends differently from the English one. Where the English text says the people will welcome you with open arms, the Chinese text says the people and Chaos will both welcome you with open arms. It reads as a joke, but it is also the only indication published so far that Chaos is present in Chongxiao's countryside as well as in Nova City. The wiki records the divergence rather than picking a side, since neither version has been corrected.
