Ananta’s roster is built around Espers, people with supernatural abilities who work within or alongside the A.C.D. against Chaos. There is no character gacha: every character is unlocked through story progression and open-world exploration. Players assemble a team of four and can switch between them on the fly, and each character has their own combat style, job, traversal moves and personal story.
This page is the roster hub. Each name links to a full character page, and the character pages are the authority when they disagree with a summary here.
The Current Official Line-Up
The official character section was rebuilt on August 25, 2026 alongside the release-date announcement. It presents six characters. The site does not label them a playable roster, so playable status is confirmed only where a character page says so.

These characters appeared in trailers and on the official site before the September 2025 redesign, which removed several of their bios. None of them has a confirmed playable status, and the details below are limited to what trailers actually showed.

Descriptive nicknames circulating for unnamed characters are community labels, not names, and this wiki does not use them.

How Characters Are Obtained
Every character is unlocked through gameplay. There is no character gacha, and monetization is cosmetic. See Character Acquisition and the Free-to-Play Model for the full mechanism, and Team Switching for how a four-person team is used in play.
What Has Not Been Announced
The full launch roster has not been announced as of September 2026. Several bios removed from the official site in September 2025 have not returned, and no official statement says whether those characters were cut, reworked, or are simply being held back.
