The Sphera is an enemy in Alabaster Dawn. It is a small bug-like Nuemera and the most basic enemy type in the game, appearing frequently in large numbers across the current Early Access content.
Type | Encountered | Level | HP | EXP at level |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Sphera | Capital, Koro Valley (corrupted) | 2 | 100 | 15 |
Sphera | Koro Valley (restored) | 5 | 110 | 6 |
Sphera | 7 | 120 | 6 | |
6 | 260 | 13 | ||
8 | 280 | 12 |
Spheras have a single attack: a quick lunge that damages Juno on contact. They cannot be broken, but they have very low HP and no resistances, so basic attacks finish them in one or two hits.
Spheras often appear alongside more powerful enemies. They are not a real threat on their own, but their lunges can clip Juno during a parry or combo against the bigger target.
The Arma Sphera is a small buglike Nuemera with an armored shell. The first one shows up shortly before Juno gains the Hammer, and they become a frequent encounter once she has it.
Like the basic Sphera, the Arma Sphera has a single contact lunge attack. It is resistant to Piercing and Slashing damage, but weak to Blunt damage. It cannot be broken, but a few clean Hammer hits finish it.
The Pilo Sphera is another Sphera variant, a small bug-like Nuemera covered in fur. Like the Arma Sphera it carries a damage-type resistance, and it turns up across Koro Valley, the Aurum Plains, and the Spring Trial. Its exact stats are not yet fully documented, so treat specific numbers as unconfirmed until more of the build is verified.
Use a basic combo on Spheras between bigger threats. They are low-HP enough that the third hit of a Claio Solas or Ortrom Solas combo usually deletes them.
Switch to the Hammer for any Arma Sphera; Slashing or Piercing combos waste real time on the armored shell.
In mixed packs, prioritize Arma Spheras because they take longer to kill. The basic Spheras die to splash damage from Divine Arts anyway.
