Add scheduled global quest-wing values, Sealed Wing morph cap and Korean five presets.
Wings are both the means of flight and a stat item in AION 2. Every wing has two effects: an owned effect that applies as long as the wing is in your collection, and an equipped effect that applies only to the pair you are wearing. The item tooltip has shown both since February 11, 2026.
As of October 2, 2026, NCsoft has not published which of these systems, or which level cap, the global service opened with when Advance Access began on September 30, 2026, so the enhancement and owned-effect figures below are Korean and Taiwanese service values unless a line says otherwise.
NCsoft scheduled a global quest-wing Flight Power increase for the temporary maintenance beginning October 8, 2026 at 23:30 PDT / October 9 at 08:30 CEST (06:30 UTC). The announced increase is 500 for each of the four quest wings, 2,000 in total; it is scheduled and has not yet been verified live. These are quest-wing Flight Power values, separate from the Korean owned-effect Flight Time values below and from cosmetic wing skins.

The global October 7, 2026 patch also set a weekly limit of 20 morphs per server for turning Sealed Wings into Enhance Stones through Substance Morph.
NCsoft introduced the Wings Enhance System on May 27, 2026. Enhancing a wing raises its owned effect, which makes every wing in the collection worth upgrading rather than only the one on your back.

These rules come from NCsoft's official probability page (checked October 7, 2026) and confirm what the May 26, 2026 preview broadcast described: Rare and Epic wings (Epic is the global client's name for the 전승 grade, which this page earlier called Fabled) reach +10 without failing, Unique wings accept extra materials to raise the odds, and shop wings cannot be enhanced. The guidebook adds that wings bought in the shop have no owned or equipped effect at all. Players who had deleted or sold feathers before the system arrived had them restored on June 24, 2026.

Each wing's owned effect grows with its enhancement level: Flight Time rises by 10 per level, and enhancing adds a further stat that grows to its maximum at +10. The probability page's owned-effect table lists 73 wings per faction on the Korean service: 1 Common, 4 Rare, 7 Epic, 22 Unique and 39 Special. The Epic and Unique wings below are listed with their owned effect at +0 and what +10 adds. English names are the global client's where it has the wing.

Expeditions: several Expedition dungeons drop wing feathers that convert into that dungeon's wings; feather rewards of this kind were added to Expedition dungeons on January 21 and February 11, 2026.
Citadel of the Fallen Daeva: its feathers convert into Soul Crystals or Enhancement Stones (July 8, 2026).
Hidden Cubes: Hidden Cubes from Spacetime Rifts give wings matched to your own race (December 24, 2025), and the Chapter 1 Hidden Cube rework added new wings to the pool.
Seasonal updates and events: many updates add new wings; the Season 3 update on April 8, 2026 brought two.
Rankings and passes: season ranking rewards and the subscription pass shop have included wings.
First Wings: the guidebook says every character gets a first pair from a basic quest, which unlocks flying, gliding and wind paths.
Gathering: some feathers are found while gathering, according to their item descriptions: Blue Butterfly Wings feathers from gems, Odyle Wings feathers from Odyle and Fairy's Dream Wings feathers from wood.
Expedition exchange shop: the Awakened Pride Wings (일깨운 긍지의 날개; provisional English name) were added to the Trial shop on August 19, 2026.
Wing presets were added on March 4, 2026, so each preset can equip a different pair, and the preset set system saves wings alongside equipment, Arcana, skills and titles. Since June 10, 2026 the wing enhancement window no longer shows the wing preset switch. Dismantling a wing item returns Enhancement Stones. The October 7, 2026 Korean update increased wing presets from three to five.
