The studio has shipped a release every week since, seven numbered patches plus hotfixes and an interim performance patch. This page summarises what each published update changed. It is a digest rather than a full changelog, and it covers the updates the studio published publicly; a stream of smaller server-side hotfixes went out through the studio's community channels in the same period.2233Naming4455From the end of July the studio split its release naming. A patch is part of a scheduled update and bundles balance work and improvements together. A hotfix is an out-of-band release that goes out as soon as a problem is fixed, often the same day it is reported. Earlier releases used the hotfix label for both, which is why the numbering jumps around.667+September Server Expansion8+9+On September 10, 2026 the studio opened six new servers across the United States, Europe and Asia, specifically Japan, to raise total player capacity. Every new server started empty, so the announcement was pitched at players who wanted a clean start alongside friends. Characters are per server and progress does not follow you between them, and there is still no way to move a character from one server to another, though the studio has said it hopes to add transfers later. A 35 percent discount ran alongside the launch. See Servers and Regions for the full picture.10+11+Patch 712+13+Published on September 9, 2026 as the crafting overhaul, and the patch that finally made crafted gear competitive with dungeon drops. Gear forged at the Gearforge Station and the Weapon Station now rolls a random rarity and stat line drawn from the same pool as dungeon chests, so two identical recipes no longer produce identical items. The patch also added equipment salvaging, rebalanced every craftable Chemistry Lab consumable, and rebuilt bank performance for players carrying large inventories.14+15+AreaChangeCrafting103 recipes, covering all head, chest and feet armour and all weapons from Tier 1 to Tier 6, now roll a random rarity and stat line instead of producing a fixed result. Crafted gear draws from the same variant pool as dungeon drops, so a craft can come out better or worse than the old fixed item. At Tiers 1 and 2 the odds match dungeon drop odds; from Tier 3 upward crafting is weighted toward Epic and Legendary, and Uncommon can no longer be crafted at Tiers 5 and 6. Items crafted before the patch are unaffected. Accessories, belts and tools are unchanged.Crafting tooltipsNew tooltips show the stat ranges and rarities a recipe can produce before you commit the materials.SalvagingEquipment salvaging arrived. Speak to Tammy in Arcadia to break gear down into crafting materials for a gold fee that scales with the item's tier. She salvages every applicable item in your inventory in one go, and the materials go straight to your bag rather than the bank, so bank anything you want to keep first.ConsumablesAll 40 craftable Chemistry Lab consumables were reviewed and rebalanced, including several that granted stats the game no longer uses and so did nothing at all. Titan's Elixir health dropped from 125 to 50, Warlord's Elixir now gives raw damage and scales all damage by 10 percent instead of only helping some abilities, and every Tier 6 elixir now totals 20 damage power. Tier 6 stims stayed at 15, and elixirs and stims still run separate cooldowns so they can be combined.EnemiesThe Cactaro King in the Tier 6 Eastern Reach Abyssal dungeon had its health reduced to 55,000.QuestsThe main story questline and the tutorial were reworked for a smoother run, several new quests were added in Virelda to improve onboarding, and a new quest handles the Arcadia to Virelda station teleport more reliably. Quest NPCs now hand out their quests on the first visit to a room instead of needing you to leave and re-enter, and the quest log updates the moment you receive a quest item.AbilitiesBomb abilities were relabelled from Technology to Dexterity in the ability book, matching the Dexterity experience they already paid. Blackhole Bomb is a separate ability and stays Technology. Missing and corrupted visual effects on radial abilities such as Fortify, Ice Cube and Healing Pulse were repaired.Bank and bagA group of bank and bag crashes and desyncs caused by rapid or conflicting inventory actions were fixed, including double deposits, double withdrawals, stack merges and splits, destroying items and moving items between tabs. Rejected actions now refuse with a message and refresh the inventory instead of crashing. Rearranging an item inside a bank tab inserts it at the target slot. The long freeze when opening or closing a bank full of gear is gone.ItemsCraft times for the Brawler's Pendant, Elemental Pendant, Gunner's Pendant and Necklace of Explosions were corrected from roughly thirteen minutes to five seconds. Stamina text on Dragon Fruit, Vanilla Orchid, Starfruit, Cacao Pod and Void Truffle was corrected to the 6 stamina they have always restored. Fish Stick and Bag of Flour gained their missing tooltip details. Item rarities in the Manufacturing Station now match recipe rarities, so legendary gear no longer appears under the Rare heading.ApartmentsLeaving an apartment returns you to where you entered from instead of dumping you in Arcadia City, and the build, furniture and manage bars appear almost immediately. Placing a Manufacturing Table no longer risks immobilising your character.WorldMining speed was tied to framerate and is now consistent at any framerate. The Arcadia Arena gained a physical entrance you can walk through. A texture size error when interacting with Sakamoto was fixed.SettingsThe Uncapped frame rate option was removed after being traced as a source of input delay, and players using it were moved to 60. That also fixed the display name scale setting failing to apply.16+Patch 6.517+18+Published on September 4, 2026 as a dedicated performance patch, a day after Patch 6. The studio rebuilt how the client loads sprites, moving the work into the background under a strict per-frame budget so a crowd of players or NPCs dressing in no longer causes multi-frame freezes, and added a persistent on-disk sprite cache so returning to an area loads far faster. Other players now stay in the world for as long as you share a room instead of being removed and respawned every time you cross an area boundary.19+20+AreaChangeWorld loadingNearby players, NPCs, gathering nodes and your tools are fetched behind the loading screen, so much less pops in after the fade. Loading screens can take a few seconds longer as a result. Chunk swapping splits large world updates into smaller packets and spreads spawns across frames, removing the 12 to 30 millisecond spikes that hit when a busy area streamed in.Movement and cameraOther players and NPCs interpolate smoothly between server updates instead of stepping. The camera scrolls with sub-pixel precision from integer world positions and its motion is capped per frame, so a hitch no longer lurches the view. Mount riding throttles chunk streaming harder and effects that follow your character now track the mount correctly. Quest camera transitions glide instead of snapping.Graphics settingsV-Sync was added to the graphics settings and is on by default. The texture scale options were renamed to Normal, Low and Very Low, and the Auto setting was removed along with a hidden 30 frames per second fallback that could quietly lock your framerate.CapacityPlayer caps were raised on the Tutorial and Virelda maps.AchievementsProgress on partly completed achievements is now rebuilt from your play history instead of sitting at zero, achievements you had already qualified for are granted retroactively on login across quest completions, skill milestones, dungeon clears, crafted sets and collected items, and Global achievement tier rewards can be claimed the moment you reach the required points rather than waiting up to twenty minutes for the backend.Audio and visualsThe music playlist no longer skips forward every twenty to forty seconds or goes silent while a track downloads. Sound effects arriving more than 1.5 seconds late are dropped rather than played in a burst. Level-up, quest completion and achievement effects no longer drift away from your character while moving or mounted, and the popup stack for those alerts was reworked so new popups appear at their resting height with the newest at the bottom.Under the hoodServer publish volume per spawning entity was cut sharply: a joining player triggers about 6 state broadcasts in the hub instead of roughly 75, and rejoining no longer re-broadcasts every entity in the world. Chunk resyncs became versioned so a client that already holds an area's current state is not sent it again.21+Patch 622+23+Published on September 3, 2026, and the patch that gave farming a destination. Dungeon chest gear drops are now split by faction across the Fractured, Shattered, Collapsing and Abyssal tiers, so each dungeon drops its own faction's chest, feet and head armour plus that faction's two weapons and you can target-farm a full set. Overall gear drop rates were not changed.24+25+DungeonGear It DropsFarpointFoundationEverduneNeotilusLunarLunarEastern ReachVirelda, plus Lunar at the Fractured tier where there is no Lunar dungeon26+AreaChangeServersUS West 1 was consolidated into US Central 1 and EU West 3 into Europe West 1, with the two closing regions kept in the dropdown as automatic reroutes. Players moving could expect roughly 20 milliseconds of extra ping. The studio's reasoning was that both closing regions had only a small number of active players, and it said a new region would follow.RelicsThe stack limit on relic reroll items went from 20 to 100, so a stock of Relic Refreshers takes far less bag space.ConsumablesThe exploit that let health potions be spammed in dungeons for near-unlimited healing was closed. Consumables are now locked while a use is in progress or a blocking buff is active, with a please-wait prompt if you try too soon, and the lock applies everywhere rather than only in dungeons. Dungeons are meaningfully harder for anyone who relied on potion spam.LocalisationDedicated Chinese and Japanese fonts were added for dialogue and tutorial text.AchievementsThe Achievement Diary now shows completed achievements as complete without relogging, achievements at full progress display 100 percent, and the notification pip only counts rewards you can actually claim and clears as soon as they are claimed. Talisman achievement reward cooldowns stopped being shared across tiers, and cooldowns longer than an hour display in hours.TasksTask locations were corrected across roughly 100 tasks in Lunar City, Farpoint, Everdune and Virelda, so a task's destination now shows correctly when you pick it up. The guild task Where It Hurts VI now tracks the Cactaro King kill in Eastern Reach Abyssal and pays out.CombatFrostbreaker hammer chill now triggers the Frostline Belt's cold damage bonus, matching how Ice Cube already behaved.StabilityA server crash in dungeon chest rooms when a chest failed to load its configuration was fixed, along with client crashes on missing doors, teleports or rentable-location visuals. A server-side memory leak on core game services was closed, brief network interruptions no longer tear down and respawn your character minutes later, and logging back in after a dungeon disconnect no longer drops you into the overworld while the game still thinks you are in the dungeon.Life skillsThe fishing minigame moved the whole screen instead of the green catch box; fixed.27+Patch 528+29+Published on August 27, 2026, and the patch that brought achievements back. Unlocking one now raises a dedicated notification icon in the quick access menu, and progress updates quickly as you play. The other half of the patch reworked the early game: Tier 1 and Tier 2 gear lost its skill-level requirements entirely, which widened the weapon choices open to a new character dramatically, and early gathering got cheaper.30+31+AreaChangeDungeon abilitiesA player who enters a dungeon with empty ability slots is now offered a random ability at the level each slot would normally unlock, drawn from the whole roster including abilities they have not unlocked yet. That turns the tutorial dungeon and the early Virelda dungeon into a place to try things. Players with every slot filled get a normal relic selection as before, and anyone running deliberately fewer abilities can complete a quest in Lunar City for The Vacan-Sealer, an item that suppresses the random ability offer.Early gameTier 1 and Tier 2 gear no longer carries skill-level requirements. Early gathering costs less stamina, with Tier 1 nodes free, Tier 2 costing 1 and Tier 3 costing 2. Pyrosphere was taken out of the Tutorial Dungeon and is now a reward from Granny's Gumbo, and Granny's Gumbo no longer makes you plant and wait for crops: gather, cook, move on.UsernamesUsernames became globally unique across every region. Existing collisions were de-duplicated on an earliest-account-wins basis, with a number appended to the later character's name. Anyone affected can take the Identity Manager name-change quest in Virelda to pick a new one, and the key items menu lets you display either your original name or the new one. Player search shows both as display name and username.GamepadGamepad players can aim primary weapon attacks with the right stick in dungeons, after selecting Gamepad in the game's Steam controller configuration.StatsPrimary and major secondary stats that had been wrongly hidden are visible again and count properly toward gear score, covering critical strike, cooldown reduction, attack speed, dodge, area of effect radius and damage types. The character sheet and advanced view show the information they had been missing. DoT Potency now works, adding ticks, shortening tick intervals and increasing impact power through capped scaling on damage-over-time abilities.Loading and recoveryStartup, room changes and dungeon entry show clearer loading progress. A failed load now gives an error that says what went wrong plus a retry option instead of a dead end, failed automatic sign-in offers Retry Sign In, and login, queue, maintenance and world loading handle slow or dropped connections with timeouts and retries rather than waiting indefinitely.FixesPotion stacks can no longer be pushed past their pack limit through bank interactions. Lootflies no longer settle in unreachable places. Sow of Hope III progresses from harvesting soybeans rather than repeatedly watering them. Placed furniture such as smelters no longer becomes permanently stuck. Play Now and Launch Game on the account dashboard open the full game instead of the demo.732Patch 4833934Published on August 20, 2026 under the banner of instant gear crafting and station upgrades, and the largest change to the crafting loop since launch. The studio found that players were turning their apartments into factories, switching on several stations at once to keep materials flowing, and decided to make that practical rather than discourage it. Weapon and armor crafting now finishes in five seconds at every tier, workbench upgrades complete with no timer at all, and generators put out twice as much power at every tier. Ore smelting was not part of that change: the smelter's ingot ladder still runs from six seconds for steel up to just under eight hours for astralite.10351136AreaChangeCraftingWeapon and armor crafting cut to five seconds across all tiers, and workbench upgrade timers reduced to zero, so station upgrades complete instantly. Ore smelting times were left alone.PowerGenerators produce twice as much power at every tier. A new high-tier fuel, the Charged Cell, produces three times as much power as coal and is found in Tier 4 to Tier 6 hacking nodes.GearCrafted gear is no longer Legendary, reversing the previous week's change after players said it devalued legendary dungeon drops. Crafted Celestial Yoku Staffs now match their dropped versions instead of rolling different primary stats, Celestial Greatswords no longer display duplicate legendary effects, rare and epic Ferrox Braids carry properly different stats, and item level calculations were adjusted to better reflect item power.ProgressionExperience rates within parties were increased significantly, so grouping is now the most efficient experience farm. Combat skill XP scaling was updated so higher-tier dungeons reward more XP, and Dexterity XP was brought in line with other skills for the same dungeon content.Life skillsHigher-tier farming rewards appropriate XP instead of paying less than Tier 4 farming, Tier 4 to Tier 6 seed growth timers were adjusted, and Bud's seed-purchase requirements were aligned to farming level requirements.WorldHacking and mining nodes appear more often and at higher density, dungeon ore drops were rebalanced to normalise rewards, and combat rooms are no longer incorrectly replaced by resource rooms.Relics and abilitiesCascading Power now correctly increases staff relic damage, Ethereal Duality swaps the staff to explosive damage and fires its healing orb, Kusarigama's Chain Spread was repaired, and Void Rift was fixed after the previous update left it unavailable or invisible. Skill scaling for weapons and abilities was fixed, so higher skill levels deal more damage. The Supporter relic now interacts correctly with support abilities, though it still does not show in the advanced stats display.RecipesT5 and T6 stim and elixir recipes now list the correct crafting materials.Quests and NPCsThe extra mayor in Arcadia was removed after the Diplomatic Relations questline, Virelda's Chief no longer appears in two places at once during Dune It Yourself, Circuit Sleuth IV is completable via Broken Bots, quest markers clear once the relevant intel is collected in City of Light and Shadow, the fifth Lost Page no longer drops after Mirelle's quest is complete, and the Arcadia Oni Mask shop stock was raised to 100.UI and socialA new dialogue presentation system brings refreshed dialogue boxes, portraits, choice styling and transitions. Quest tracking is more visible on the map, the Magnetism relic's text was renamed to experience pickup range, and the Trade and Neighborhood channels were dropped from the default chat layout to leave more room for the channels players actually use.CosmeticsThe weekly commission cosmetic reward was swapped for a new set.StabilityInventory rollback and synchronisation were hardened, cutting the chance of gear reverting, disappearing or being replaced with recall stones. Toolbelt auto-equip duplication involving the Forage Pouch was fixed, fishing with T3 and higher rods no longer hides the player's body, and several client crash scenarios now recover safely instead of closing the game.1237Combat Logs13381439Combat logging arrived in the same patch, and it is opt-in. Turn on real-time combat logging from the settings and account menu and the game writes combat log files to the local game data folder, where you can read or parse them with your own tools to see how a fight actually went. This is the first version of the log format, so the fields it records may change as they are added, removed or reorganised. A simpler in-game combat metrics interface is planned for a later update for players who would rather not handle raw files, and the studio asked players to take care when installing third-party plugins.15401641Patch 317421843A weekly patch focused on item data and tooltips. Gear tooltips were overhauled so rolled stats now appear consistently in the bag, in equipped slots, on the ground and in comparison screens, and refresh when stats change. Legendary effects and other custom stats display their descriptions more reliably, and unusual legendary effects no longer produce broken comparison values or crash the game. Bank, bag and equipped items share a more reliable inventory versioning, so transfers and equipment swaps no longer leave slots stuck or out of sync.19442045AreaChangeCrafted legendariesCrafted Legendary gear now correctly receives its legendary effect, which it had been missingCraftingViridium Yoku Fillet is available from the Chemistry Lab again and is recognised by gearforge recipes; the plain Yoku Fillet is the T4 item and recipes need the separate T5 Viridium versionCraft timeThe T5 Viridium Yoku Hammer had its crafting time corrected from 50 hours down to the intended 4 hoursRelicsVoid Rift charge stacks now last 20 seconds instead of 8, with each cast still carrying a 25% chance to add a stack and five stacks opening the rift. The Pyrosphere relic tree no longer begins at an unreachable Phase IILegendary itemsAround twenty-five legendary drops were fixed or reworked for more consistent and measurable effects, including the Redeemed Yoku Sword, the Dark Yoku Staff, the Voltscale Broadsword and the elemental belt lineDungeon crashesA frequent crash caused by Cactaro enemies being reused before their hitbox data finished initialising was fixed, and Elite Hovertrix now returns to combat after an attack rotation instead of stallingEventsFishing events no longer end participation when a server-wide contribution bar fills. The global cap was removed, and reaching 10 personal contribution during an event qualifies you for rewardsLoginPlayers whose Steam usernames contained words the filter objected to could not log in and were shown a create-account prompt instead of an explanation. Fixed2146Patch 222472348The largest patch since launch, and the one that reversed the studio's wipe plan. Before Early Access the studio had said version 1.0 would start fresh and leave Early Access progression behind. After feedback across the community channels and store reviews it changed course: characters created in Early Access persist into 1.0, and progression, items, cosmetics and achievements will not be reset. The studio apologised for the original plan and said it is still working out how players who join after Early Access get a fair start.24492550The rest of the patch was performance and economy work. Much of the dungeon system was rebuilt for higher frame rates, less stuttering and more accurate hitbox detection, with the studio's own benchmark on a mid-range machine showing roughly a 30% frame-rate improvement. Craft and upgrade timers were cut heavily so that no upgrade takes more than a day.26512752AreaChangeDungeon performanceClient-side frame stutter during heavy action reduced, and server-side ability processing reworked so simultaneous casts and relic-triggered events cost less under load. The Bomb chain-reaction relic was changed to stop runaway chains grinding performance downCombat feelHit detection now matches what is on screen more closely, cutting phantom hits after moving away. Last-second dodges register more reliably at moderate latency, damage and dodge reactions and health updates appear faster, and enemies track their server position more smoothlyConnectionProfile loading gained proper timeout and recovery handling, so one failed request can no longer block a character from spawningCraftingCraft and station upgrade times were rebalanced across T4 to T6 to remove multi-day waits, and the Generator had its maximum output raisedGearRolled stats became visible on gear again, all eighteen core T3 to T6 necklaces were given built-in secondary stat packages, and unused duplicate necklace recipes at T3 and T4 were removedLive eventsDaily live events went live, paying Commission Medals and Credits, starting with a fishing event and an abyssal raid event and carrying exclusive cosmetics, mounts and petsAbilitiesThe Celestial Yoku Staff now behaves as a staff ability rather than a greatsword one, and the Tritanium Elemental Pendant was renamed from a mislabelled name and clarified so its extra projectile applies to drones only2853Hotfix 529543055A short pre-weekend release. Creating a new character shortly after a deployment no longer risks crashing the game, and a separate crash on login was fixed. Getting caught on the large hemlock near Virelda no longer leaves the character or nearby interactions broken, and reloading after that happens no longer breaks later interactions with plants, rocks or lockboxes. Fishing at the Abyssal spot no longer makes the fishing window vanish the moment a fish is hooked, and high-tier crafting recipes can be completed again.31563257Patch 133583459The first release under the new naming, and the one that made the top gear tiers workable in practice.35603661AreaChangeSmeltingThe smelter's top upgrade, which unlocks Tier 6 ingots, now takes significantly less timeMiningMining progression was rebalanced so it is less skippable, and dungeon chest ore rewards were adjusted so mining stays worthwhile for longerCraftingChronosteel crafting experience was rebalanced for its tierWorld mapResource tooltips now show the correct drops for each zoneRegionsRegion selection now communicates whether character creation is available. Existing characters can still log in anywhere, and disabled creation is temporaryGear iconsMissing inventory and equipment icons for some Tier 6 weapons now appearEncountersLunar Plateau bosses no longer jump out of bounds and crash the run, and Farpoint Storm rooms no longer strand players without an exit portalItemsSeveral weapons and pieces of headgear that broke combat were fixed, including the Viridium Yoku Staff, both Dark Yoku heavy weapons, the Necrotic Warrior Crown and the Neotilus Trailseeker Visor3762Hotfix 438633964The largest post-launch release so far, and the one that reworked combat balance across the whole ability roster. Solo runs were made slightly tougher and three-player runs slightly easier so difficulty scales more evenly with party size.40654166AreaChangeCombat balanceFortify, Bomb, Machine Gun, Drone, Blackhole, Greatsword, Gleam Twins, Staff, Chakram and Sword were all retuned. Fortify's base value and duration were cut sharply, bombs gained damage and shed their negative trade-off stats, and the greatsword and chakram had their cooldowns shortenedDamage typesPhantom Resonance on the chakram now grants void damage instead of ethereal, and staff relics moved off ethereal onto explosive damageRelic displayRelic paths now stack as separate rows rather than drawing as one connected line, with standalone relics shown beneath them, and rare relics that had gone missing from selections were restoredLegendary itemsSeveral legendary effects that could reach a 100% trigger chance and run away with a fight had their trigger rates correctedLife skillsYoku catfish are easier to farm, and Pioneers Guild fishing tasks need fewer catches so fishing progression is less stamina-heavyGear tooltipsRing secondary stats were returned to their intended values and necklace tooltips now show their stats and legendary effects correctlyQuestsFragment hunts, contract board unlocks and several quest reward and progression faults were fixed, and quest fragments became key items so they can no longer be lost when a bag is fullNamingDungeon names and type labels were corrected, including several dungeons labelled Trail instead of Trial4267Launch Week43684469The opening days were dominated by server capacity. A set of bugs capped how far each server environment could scale, so far fewer players could get in than the studio had planned for. Six new player-facing environments were deployed and the capacity of each existing one was raised. Two of the most damaging early faults, players losing items and players getting stuck in place, were fixed within the first days, and the achievement system was temporarily switched off after being traced as the cause of a wider set of problems, with the studio saying it would be switched back on very shortly.45704671The same release rolled up the launch-week hotfixes: in-quest guidance for finding hemlock and copper ore, new portal icons for resource and drill event rooms, gear tooltip compare hints, adjusted respawn timing on Voltgrass patches and Neo-Tilus fishing spots, a fix for the crash after the Noxley Drill event, power cores added to more drop tables, cloak recipes added to the gearforge from level 2 upward, working leaderboards for every Dungeon Finder entry, and a fix that stopped players entering apartments before unlocking apartment access.47724873The studio also used the same announcement to confirm what was coming next: the first raid, language localisation, more NPC voiceover, and tests toward ten-player co-op dungeons.49745075Earlier Releases51765277Before the Steam launch the game ran as a browser and Discord title with its own long patch history. Those releases apply to the earlier build rather than the Early Access client and are not summarised here. Background on that period is on the SpiderWare page.
