Thamon
October 6, 2026 at 11:29 PM
Initial version (2026-10-06)
Thamon (타몬) is the second boss of Vakron Sky Island, fought between Tiere and Vakron. A November 23, 2025 patch note calls him Indomitable Thamon (불굴의 타몬). He was part of the first Expedition Ordeal from July 15 to September 23, 2026. Everything here describes the Korean and Taiwanese service; NCsoft's global notices had not listed the Expeditions open in the global build as of October 7, 2026.
Detail | Value |
|---|---|
Korean name | 타몬; titled 불굴의 타몬 |
Dungeon | Vakron Sky Island (Expedition, two-star tier) |
Position | Second boss |
Thamon stomps and makes stones burst out of the ground. A player hit by them is petrified, and while anyone is petrified Thamon follows with a slam across the arena that deals far more damage to petrified players. Allies free a petrified player by attacking the stone, and the healer prepares for the slam.
During the fight his body glows red or purple. Red means he absorbs physical damage and purple means he absorbs magic damage, so attacking with the wrong type heals him. The split is by class rather than by skill: player guides list Templar, Gladiator, Assassin, Ranger, Chanter and Brawler as the physical classes that stop on red, and Cleric, Spiritmaster and Sorcerer as the magic classes that stop on purple. NCsoft added voice lines for this skill on January 7, 2026, which help to call the switch. Ordeal guides also warn of a frontal charge in which he grabs a player, telegraphed by his arms spreading wide.
