Add a PvE loadout example with effective-level priorities and practical skill timing.
11Use this provisional Ranger plan to learn ranged PvE combat before committing to an endgame setup. Positioning, MP and skill conditions decide which shot is useful next. Encounter-specific optimization is still being developed; build around the abilities you have unlocked.2233Keep a usable ranged core4455PriorityPurposeSnipeUse the basic chain to restore MP while maintaining ranged pressure. It can be used while moving.Tempest ShotUse its area attack for enemies grouped around the target, while watching the MP cost.Marking Shot and DeadshotMarking Shot grants Precision and moves you in the chosen direction. Precision strengthens Deadshot, so plan the charge during that window when the ground is safe.Snare Shot and Burst ArrowApply Slow before attempting Burst Arrow. Burst Arrow requires a slowed or rooted target; a different control effect does not satisfy that condition.66Take Drill Dart opportunities after critical hits to apply Bleed and restore MP. Concentrated Fire supports damage against a target already taking damage over time. Focused Eye supports the broader damage kit; Vigilant Eye and Wind Vigor help sustain movement and survival.7788Select a purpose for each Stigma991010Griffon Arrow adds damage over time, which connects to Concentrated Fire. Vaizel's Authority and Bow of Blessing provide offensive self-buffs. Consider these when you can maintain attacks during their duration. Ambush Kick offers space against a nearby enemy, while Mother Nature's Breath is an alternative for incoming pressure. Select from the Stigma skills available to your character rather than trying to equip every option.11111212Practice movement between opportunities13131414Find a clear firing position. Use Marking Shot to establish Precision, then look for a safe Deadshot charge. Add Gale Arrow for its buff when available. Use Snipe as MP falls, trigger Drill Dart when enabled, and connect Snare Shot to Burst Arrow only when the target actually receives the required condition.15151616Arrow Scattershot requires Stagger, also called Groggy. Stun alone does not unlock it. Keep movement and escape inputs accessible, and avoid spending all your stamina merely to maintain distance. Follow Global Progression Walkthrough for progression and consult Ranger Skills before choosing specialties that change movement, resource use or follow-up skills.17+18+Deadshot effective-level targets19+20+These are effective-level targets for one loadout example. Mastery skill points raise a skill to level 10; equipment, Arcana and the Daevanion Board supply additional levels. Keep the activation conditions and available specialty slots in the skill tables when choosing options.21+22+Skill familyEffective levelPriority skillsActive20Snipe; DeadshotActive16Tempest Shot; Snare Shot; Marking Shot; Drill Dart; Arrow Scattershot; Gale Arrow; Explosion Trap; Burst Arrow; Suppressing ArrowPassive20Focused EyePassive15Vigilant Eye; Concentrated Fire; Wind Vigor; Hunter's Resolve; Unyielding Resolve; Rooting Eye; Melee Fire; Hunter's SoulPassive14Revitalization Contract23+Selected StigmaEffective levelPurposeIllusory Arrow20Add blind and an optional control opening.Arrow Storm20Provide area damage, stagger damage and a stun chance.Griffon Arrow20Maintain Crimson Flames alongside the direct attacks.Explosive Arrow20Exploit a target that is slowed or rooted.24+Use Marking Shot to establish Precision before Suppressing Arrow and Deadshot. Set up Slow or Root before Burst Arrow, and use the damage-over-time effects to support Concentrated Fire. Keep moving between useful attack windows rather than spending all stamina while the target is already under control.25+26+Arrow Scattershot requires Stagger. A stun from Suppressing Arrow or Arrow Storm alone does not open it. Drill Dart depends on a critical hit, and the traps need an enemy to enter their area. Gale Arrow and Marking Shot are targeted attacks, so prepare the opening around a reachable enemy rather than counting them as free buffs before combat.27+28+Attack, accuracy, critical performance and Combat Speed support the ranged damage loop. Movement Speed helps retain spacing when mechanics or pursuing enemies interrupt a stationary charge.
