Revision 5

NCsoft scheduled a set of events around the global release of AION 2 for players in North America, Latin America and Europe. Most run from the free-to-play launch on October 5, 2026 into November, and a few began with Advance Access on September 30. All dates below are from NCsoft's own announcements, and NCsoft reserves the right to change or cancel any of them.

Schedule

Transcendence Dungeon Leaderboard

Players earn Rank Points by clearing Transcendence dungeons. The participating dungeons are Deus Research Base and Shattered Arkanis. Rankings are kept per server and per class, and the in-game board is under ESC, Transcendence, Rank, Class. Rewards go to account mail by November 16.

Character Creation Contest

Entries for the character design contest, which the official site's event overview calls Daeva Makeover, are two forward-facing screenshots of a character, one headshot and one full body, taken in the Closet menu and posted in the event channel of the official community server with the player's region, server and character name. Submissions run from September 30 to October 19, winners are contacted by October 31 and announced on November 2. See Character Creation and Customization.

Guides for Glory

A contest for player-written guides on any part of the global game, such as beginner basics, dungeon mechanics, life skills, class breakdowns or the Abyss. Entries have to be the entrant's own work and made on or after September 30, 2026; an older guide can serve as an outline if its details still apply to the global version. A player can submit several guides but win only once. Submissions run from October 5 to November 2, and up to ten winners are announced on November 16.

Beauty of Atreia

A screenshot contest from October 5 to November 9 with a theme each week. Entries go in the official community event channel or on social media with the event hashtag, together with region, server and character name. Winners are chosen by the community team on originality and creativity, and rewards go to account mail by November 9.

Viewer Drops

Watching participating AION 2 livestreams on a linked streaming account during two windows earns in-game items. The rewards go to the PlayNC account that the streaming account is linked to, so the link has to be set up on the right account before watching; see Account Linking.

Drops earned in either window have to be claimed from the streaming account's drop inventory by October 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM PDT (October 31, 7:59 CET). NCsoft's linking guide adds that the streaming account must be linked to the account you actually play on: the Steam account for Steam players and the NC account for PURPLE players.

Advance Access Rewards (September 30 to October 4)

War for Atreia Channels (October 2 to 4)

From October 2 at 12:00 PM PDT to October 4 at 11:59 PM PDT, watching one of the 60 War for Atreia creators earned a second set of rewards on top of the general drops.

War for Atreia Channels (October 7 to 9)

The second campaign runs from October 7 at 10:00 AM PDT / 7:00 PM CEST to October 9 at 11:59 PM PDT / October 10 at 8:59 AM CEST. Watch one of the participating War for Atreia creators; the separate general launch campaign below has different rewards.

War for Atreia Channels (October 12 to 14, Announced)

A third campaign is announced for October 12 to 14; exact start and end times remain to be announced. Campaigns unlock when the participating creators reach a point threshold. The announced rewards are listed below.

War for Atreia Drops must be claimed from the streaming account inventory by October 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM PDT / October 31 at 7:59 AM CET.

Launch Rewards (October 5 to October 16)

War for Atreia

War for Atreia is a competitive event for content creators that began with Advance Access on September 30, 2026. Six creator teams play on opposite sides as Elyos and Asmodians, and viewers back a team by taking its role in the official community server and sharing clips from the teams' streams. Attendance Events

Two attendance logs run from September 30, 2026 at 6:00 AM PDT to December 15, 2026 at 10:30 PM PST, claimed from the Attendance entry of the in-game menu. Both reset daily at 11:00 PM Pacific time, rewards can be claimed once per server, and every item is non-tradable and goes straight to the inventory.

Launch Rewards and Milestone Gifts

Every player who creates an account and logs in before the December 1, 2026 maintenance receives the pre-registration and wishlist rewards by mail: a pet chest with Pagati and one more pet of your choice, and a wishlist chest of consumables. The contents are listed on Global Launch and Platforms. On launch day NCsoft also sent all players 15 Artisan's Roasted Fogus (Bound) for reaching 300,000 active players, 15 Resurrection Spiritstones (Bound) for 400,000, and a Customization Voucher (Bound) for customizing skins in the Closet. Graphics Card Giveaway

From October 5 to October 12, 2026 at 11:59 PM PDT, NCsoft is running a prize draw for one NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card, open to residents of the United States, Canada and Europe except Belgium, the Netherlands, Serbia, Slovakia, Italy and Portugal. Entries came from actions on the giveaway page: playing AION 2 on Steam for an hour counted for ten entries, and following the official community server and social channels for one to three entries each.
