Forbidden Hexbeast Griosa (금기의 마수 그리오사) is the second boss of the Citadel of the Fallen Daeva, the Chapter 1 Expedition added to the Korean and Taiwanese service on July 1, 2026. Everything here describes the Korean and Taiwanese service; NCsoft's global notices had not listed the Expeditions open in the global build as of October 7, 2026.

Mechanics
Griosa boasts of lightning that swallows even thunderbolts and marks one player as the watcher for a cone attack while every player gets a circle that drops a delayed poison pool. Overlapping a pool with the cone clears it, so the party places its pools where the cone will pass. Ranged players should not drop theirs on the watcher, who would otherwise take every pool at once. It also calls up magic feathers that fire projectiles until they are destroyed, which ranged players handle or the group ignores.
Calling on the power of the sky, Griosa sends three donut rings shrinking inwards, and the party gathers on the watcher to survive them. Its Lightning Roar (번갯불 포효) and Storm of Ruin (파멸의 폭풍) fire projectiles across the arena, and since July 15, 2026 the ground zones of Lightning Roar can no longer be blocked or evaded. Write-ups for Hard describe its marked-player pools followed by a wide slice as the most common cause of wipes, solved by stacking the pools in one spot and spreading for the slice.
