11 Brooches (브로치) and Seals (인장) are two newer accessory slots of the Korean and Taiwanese service of AION 2. The Brooch slot arrived on May 27, 2026 with the Sanctuary Chalice of Muspel, and the Seal slot on September 9, 2026 with the Sanctuary Snowfield of Sorrow. Both work the same way: an Epic piece is crafted through Handicrafting, and the higher pieces come from the Sanctuary's equipment vouchers converted with Kina. The guidebook says both raise Attack and Defense according to grade, and that enhancement strengthens their damage stats. The global client data holds no Brooch or Seal items, so apart from the Kaldrix Brooch, a name NCsoft has used in English, the names below are provisional. 44 The Pilgrim and Liberator pieces are the crafted Epic versions; like the Rare Explorer Brooch they roll no Soul Inscription options and show only fixed values: Accuracy, Critical Resistance and Block Penetration on the Brooches, and Defense, HP and Critical Defense on the Seals. The two slots differ once Soul Inscription starts. The Unique Kaldrix Brooch rolls four options from a pool of the six base stats (Might, Dexterity, Intelligence, Constitution, Precision, Willpower) plus Accuracy, Evasion, Critical Hit, Critical Resistance, Block Penetration and Block. The Seals roll from a combat pool instead: Defense, HP, Additional Attack, Max Attack, PvP and PvE Attack and Defense, Critical Attack and Critical Defense, Boss Attack and Boss Defense, and Power Shard Damage Bonus; the Unique Deltras Seal rolls four of them and Deltras's Splendent Seal five.

6+Option priorities for the Brooch are player advice rather than a rule. Korean-service players building for damage commonly aim the Kaldrix Brooch's four options at Might and Precision first, then Accuracy and Constitution, with Critical Hit or Block as the last choice. Brooches and Seals roll no skill effects.

810 Kaldrix Brooch: converted from a Gear Change Voucher: Kaldrix and Kina; the recipe needed two vouchers until June 17, 2026 and one since. NCsoft's English announcement lists the Kaldrix Brooch among the rewards for defeating Kaldrix in Chalice of Muspel.Deltras Seal: converted from Deltras vouchers from Snowfield of Sorrow plus Kina. A Lesser Gear Change Voucher: Deltras converts into the Seal or into an Intermediate voucher, and the Intermediate and Superior Deltras vouchers convert into a Hero equipment selection box or the Seal.Crafted Epic pieces: Handicrafting, according to the guidebook.

1214 Brooches and Seals enhance like other accessories: Rare to +10, Epic and Unique to +15, Hero Seals to +20, with breakthrough on Unique and Hero pieces. Seals cost more than Brooches of the same grade: a Unique Seal's +15 step costs 3,470,000 Kina and 27,750 Enhancement Stones, against 2,040,000 Kina and 16,270 stones for the Unique Kaldrix Brooch. Seal breakthrough also costs more, 1,500,000 to 4,500,000 Kina and up to 50 Amplify Stones per stage, against 600,000 to 3,000,000 Kina and up to 20 stones for other gear.

1416 As summarized in the Korean press, NCsoft's May 26, 2026 preview broadcast described two new Brooch slots and said that equipping two crafted Epic brooches adds 200 item level; those points come from the broadcast rather than the patch notes.
