11Abyssal Horn Den is a Transcendence dungeon added with Chapter 1. Lands of Sand and Snow on July 1, 2026 on the Korean and Taiwanese service. NCsoft first used the English name in its June 17, 2026 announcement of Chapter 1. The Korean name is 심연의 뿔 암굴.223+34The official story: after the Ferocious Horn Den was pulled into the Abyss, the cave that remained became the domain of Gargaum, an exile who gained the power of the primal Lycans. The tribe, having lost its chief and its kin, fought to survive, but Gargaum returned with overwhelming strength and subdued them, and on nights of the full moon the den runs with blood again.4556At a Glance6778DetailValue (KR/TW)Korean name심연의 뿔 암굴TypeTranscendence, four stages (Chapter 1)PartyUp to five playersEntryLevel 50; item level 3,800 / 4,100 / 4,500 / 4,800 by stageBossesKapu, Dhakan, GargaumMain rewardsKey and Hourglass Arcana parts, Arcana of the Punishing Overture, Protected Soul and Indomitable Dedication sets, Sync Stone fragmentsKinaTradeable Kina (official guidebook)89Global service: NCsoft's global announcements name only Deus Research Base and Shattered Arkanis among the Transcendence dungeons, as the two dungeons of the global leaderboard event. On July 15, 2026 the Odyle Energy Cube gained Hero and Unique Sync Stone fragments and more Enhance Stones.14151516Rewards16171718Chapter 1 added four new Arcana slots: Key, Hourglass, Dice and Lantern. This den drops the Key and Hourglass parts, while Dice and Lantern came later from Noiran's Hidden Legacy. It also drops Arcana for the three sets introduced in Mirror of Scarlet Desire, which can be crafted with 500,000 Kina and Pure Crystal while fixing one option. On July 15, 2026 the cube gained Hero and Unique Sync Stone fragments and more Enhancement Stones. Since July 8, 2026 a regular player who clears stage 4 with a Sprout Badge newcomer receives three small Odyle Energy items instead of two.18191920Bosses20212122OrderBossNotesFirstKapuScatters lightning balls under a heavy slow; a clone that casts Fear appears if one target takes four hits in a rowSecondDhakanCalls sky strikes, sends souls that heal it if they reach it, and drops a poison pool the whole party sharesFinalGargaumFights with a clone; on stage 4 a black hole phase needs three successful damage shares2223Strategy write-ups describe the den as the Ferocious Horn Den layout in darker colours with a smaller arena and tougher bosses. Kapu and Dhakan are the game client's English names; Gargaum is named on the official Chapter 1 site.23242425The Korean names give the bosses fuller titles: Kapu is 어미 잃은 번견 카푸 (the Motherless Hound), Dhakan is 대강령술사 다칸 (the Grand Necromancer) and Gargaum is 돌아온 추방자 가르가움 (the Returned Exile). A Korean strategy guide describes Dhakan's altar mechanic, in which a player takes a green orb from beneath the altar to be able to destroy the souls he raises, and Gargaum's late pattern, in which the targeted player leads a thrown orb into a black hole at the centre; these come from a single guide.25262627The Korean notes describe several changes to Gargaum. Its Assault (습격) pattern is used once instead of twice on stages 2 to 4 since July 22, 2026, and its Blue Light of Destruction (파괴의 푸른 빛) was renamed Expanding Primal (팽창하는 원시) on August 5, 2026, when a Gladiator skill also stopped clearing its bleed zones. The den's Roar (포효) trait triggers at five stacks of its status effect instead of four since July 22, 2026.27282829Change History29303031Date (KR/TW)ChangeJuly 1, 2026Stages 1 to 4 opened with Chapter 1July 8, 2026Stage 4 Sprout Badge reward raised from two to three small Odyle Energy itemsJuly 15, 2026Sync Stone fragments and more Enhancement Stones in the cube; Gargaum's projectiles no longer hit Spiritmaster spiritsJuly 22, 2026Gargaum's Assault once instead of twice on stages 2 to 4; Roar trait at five stacksJuly 29, 2026Doubled Pure Crystal shards and added Noble Crystal shards and an event material during the Expedition and Transcendence Reward Boost (to August 12)August 5, 2026Gargaum's skill renamed Expanding Primal; its bleed zones can no longer be removed by a Gladiator skillAugust 19, 2026Arcana Growth Support event began (extended to November 4, 2026)3132Events32333334The Arcana Growth Support event, which began on August 19, 2026, triples the Arcana training items in this dungeon and Noiran's Hidden Legacy on every stage and adds shards of Noble Crystal and Splendent Noble Crystal to the cube (20 of each on stage 1, 26 and 28 on stage 2, 32 and 32 on stage 3).
