Wall Beam (Planks) is a small horizontal beam in the Pillars and Beams group of Building Pieces. Beams run along the top of a wall run or across an opening to tie a structure together and to carry the floor or roof above. The planks version uses worked timber for a clean, finished plank face, costing Wood per piece.
Wall beams come in matching material tiers so the trim lines up with whichever wall set you are using. The planks beam is taught by the Plans: Timber Pillars, Beams, and Fences plan. Related beam pieces:
Piece | Notes |
|---|---|
Worked timber plank beam, 750 max health. | |
Clay-faced beam matching the early clay set. | |
Full-length timber beam for longer spans. | |
Mahogany beam for darker, higher-tier woodwork. |
Each Wall Beam (Planks) costs 2 Wood and places in about a second. Wood is gathered by chopping trees, then refined as needed, making plank beams an easy way to dress up a timber-framed home.
