The Treacherous Waters is a ship hull color cosmetic in Windrose, applied at the Shipwright to customize a player ship's hull paintwork. It is one of the hull paints in the Hull Modification system, and the design is associated with the Smugglers of Port Royal.

How to Apply

Bring the ship to a Shipwright-built Wharf, open the customization menu, and select the matching hull slot. Treacherous Waters appears in the option list once the unlock condition (Style Book or stock availability) is met. The paint is purely visual and does not change a ship's stats.

Where to Find

Unlocked by reading the matching Style Book and sold by the Smugglers of Port Royal Provisioner. The stock hull paints are catalogued in the Style Book: Stock Hull Colors. Style Books sold by the Smugglers are bought with the faction's own currency and are gated behind reputation tiers, so build standing with the Smugglers before expecting their full paint range to open up.
