Added a dish-uses table and a growth-cycle table, expanded Growth with seedbed terrain rules and Farming Contractor bulk yield, linked crops, dishes, materials and the Cook

Tomato Seeds is a Common-tier seed in Windrose used to grow Tomato. Seeds plant at a Seedbed with a roughly 1-hour real-time growth cycle, and every harvest refunds 1 seed to keep the loop renewable.
Property | Value |
|---|---|
Rarity | Common |
Stack size | 100 |
Plot type | Seedbed only |
Growth time | Approximately 1 hour of real-world time |
Biome (wild source) | |
Crop produced |
Approximately 20% per wild Tomato harvest

Harvested Saplings also return the seed used, so once a player has one seed the loop is self-sustaining.
Per harvest yield: 2-3 Tomatoes plus 1 Tomato Seed per Sapling harvest.
The Sapling uses a 1-hour real-time growth cycle shared across every crop in Windrose. Crops continue to grow while the game is closed. There is no watering, no fertilizer, no sunlight rule, and no wilt state.
Place the seed in a Seedbed (built from 5 Fertile Soil, four planting slots at the corners). Seedbeds are unlocked after defeating the Coastal Jungle boss (Thomas Richards) and mining Fertile Soil from Ancient Farm ruins in the Foothills.
Seedbeds must sit on flat, exposed ground. If the bed clips into a rock or is partly buried in sand, the game limits how many of the four corner slots you can actually plant. Each square of bed costs 5 Fertile Soil.
For volume, hand the seeds to the Farming Contractor in Tortuga. The Contractor takes a bulk order of 50 seeds of one crop for a flat operational fee, then returns all 50 seeds plus a large batch of Tomato after roughly eight hours of real time, which is far more efficient than tending four corner slots by hand.
Tomato is a Foothills-tier cooking ingredient. The dishes below are confirmed consumers; cook them at a campfire or kitchen station, with Black Axel (the hireable Cook) speeding up bulk cooking.
