Shrub Seeds is a Common-tier seed in Windrose used to grow Plant Fiber. Seeds plant at a Ground location with a roughly 1-hour real-time growth cycle, and every harvest refunds 1 seed to keep the loop renewable.

Harvested Saplings also return the seed used, so once a player has one seed the loop is self-sustaining.
Per harvest yield: 1-2 Plant Fibers plus 1 Shrub Seed per Sapling harvest.
The Sapling uses a 1-hour real-time growth cycle shared across every crop in Windrose. Crops continue to grow while the game is closed. There is no watering, no fertilizer, no sunlight rule, and no wilt state.
The Sapling places directly on the ground without a Seedbed and without any Fertile Soil cost. This makes Ground Plants the cheapest renewable resource loop in the game.
Windrose splits crops into two groups: ground plants and seedbed crops. Shrub Seeds are a ground plant, which means the Shrub Sapling plants straight onto open ground anywhere on your plot. It does not need a Seedbed, and it does not consume Fertile Soil. Only seedbed crops require a built seedbed and the Fertile Soil that goes into each seedbed section, so a Shrub patch is the cheapest farm you can set up before you have unlocked any of that.

Plant Fiber feeds Coarse Fabric (3 to 1 at Workbench), which in turn feeds ropes, bandages, and early armor.
Shrub Saplings turn the single most-consumed early-game resource (Plant Fiber) into a renewable loop. Place several on the base plot as soon as the Coastal Jungle boss is cleared.
