Overview
Shell Decorations are wall and ceiling decorations crafted from Triton’s Horn. Windrose currently includes seven Shell Decoration variants, split between wall-mounted and ceiling-mounted placements. Every variant shares the same recipe of Triton’s Horn x10 and grants the Seashells comfort bonus.

Shell Decorations are wall-mounted or ceiling-mounted. Wall variants attach flush to any wall piece, while ceiling variants hang from a roof or upper floor piece. Variant choice is purely aesthetic.
Triton's Horn is a marine resource, so Shell Decorations read as a harvested-from-the-sea theme. They pair naturally with Ship Models, Sea Landscape paintings, and Pier Decorations for a full coastal room.
All seven variants share a comfort bonus under the Shells sub-category, so a single piece is enough to reach the cap for this category.
Acquiring Triton’s Horn
Triton’s Horn is a marine resource harvested from the sea, the same family of materials as Pearl and Crab Shell. Because all seven shell variants cost ten Triton’s Horn each and a single piece already caps the Seashells sub-category, you only need one batch of ten to claim the comfort point; the remaining variants are for looks. The recipe is unlocked from the Decoration: Shell Decorations plan.
Comfort and the Rested Buff
Comfort in Windrose is a base statistic, not just decoration flavour. A higher comfort level raises the size of your maximum stamina pool and how fast stamina regenerates, and it lengthens the Well Rested buff you gain from sleeping in a built, sheltered home. For decorations to count toward comfort, the room needs walls and a roof, so finish the Building Pieces shell before placing furniture.
Comfort is counted by sub-category, not by piece. Every distinct decoration sub-category that is represented in your home contributes one point, so a single Seashells piece is enough to claim this group’s point. Placing extra pieces from the same sub-category changes the look but does not raise comfort further. Spreading your build across many different sub-categories is what pushes the total up, while collecting mounted animal heads under Trophies adds further comfort on top.
Tips
Use a wall-mounted shell cluster above a Decorative Table that holds a Ship Model in a Bottle.
Ceiling-mounted variants work well in a coastal-themed hall with Pier Canopies outside.
Pair with a Sea Landscape painting for a unified beachcomber aesthetic.
Comfort +1 bonuses in a given decoration sub-category do not stack. Placing a second piece of the same sub-category does not add more comfort, it only changes the aesthetic.
