A roof ridge made of straw at 26 degrees. The ridge sits along the apex line of a pitched roof, capping the seam where the two straw-covered slopes rise and meet so the join stays sealed against the weather. It is the standard-length straw ridge, covering a single roof run per placement.

Run this ridge along the top of a roof built from Roof (Straw) panels so it seals the line where both slopes meet. Close the open ends of the same roof with the Left Gable (Straw) and Right Gable (Straw) pieces. Straw is the mid-tier roofing material in the Base Building system: at 1,000 Max Health it is sturdier than the leaf set but cheaper than tile, and it costs both Wood and Plant Fiber rather than fiber alone. For a longer roof, the Long Roof Ridge (Straw) covers the same span as several of these standard caps in one placement.

Roof Ridge (Straw) unlocks from its plan alongside the rest of the straw roof set. Research that plan, then keep Wood and Plant Fiber on hand so you can place the slopes, gables, and ridge in one building session. Upgrade to the tile ridge later when you want a roof that survives more punishment.
