Overview

Roof Pediment (Straw) is the triangular gable filler for the straw roofing line in Windrose. A pediment is shaped to the underside of a pitched roof, so it closes the triangular gap left at the end of a 26 degree straw roof where the slope meets the wall below. Each piece costs Wood x1 and Plant Fiber x1, builds in one second, and has 1,500 max health.

Building Set

Reach for this piece when a straw roof has an open gable end; its sloped shape seals the triangle cleanly where a flat Triangular Wall (Clay) would leave gaps against the slope. It works the same way the smaller Pediment (Straw) and the wider Large Pediment (Reed) do for their own roof lines. It is unlocked by Plans: Straw Roofs and Triangular Walls, which also teaches the matching Roof (Straw) panels.
