Damage Resistance is a flat percentage reduction applied after type-specific defences, so it cuts the damage you actually take from every source. This makes the ring a safety-net pick for tough boss fights where defensive armour alone is not enough.

The Ring of Divine Protection line is not craftable at the Jewelery Table. Its source is currently undocumented in the public item database: it is most commonly reported as world loot from chests and containers rather than a dedicated vendor or craft recipe.
