Part of the Old World building set. The Old World style favours grey stone blocks paired with sawn timber planks, the plain workmanlike look of an early colonial outpost. How Recipe Papers Work

This is a Recipe Papers item, a single-use blueprint. Reading the paper consumes it and permanently adds every listed building piece to your build menu for that character, with no further cost beyond the build bits each piece spends when placed. The unlock is per character, so each crewmate sharing a base must read their own copy. Reading a second copy of a paper you already know does nothing, which makes spare copies useful as barter or to sell.

Where to Buy

Sold by the Smugglers of Port Royal Provisioner. The plan appears in stock once you reach the first reputation level with the faction. You can also find Recipe Papers as loot from chests at points of interest, so buying is only one route to the unlock.

Tips

• This is the cheapest stone-and-timber base set, a strong first building unlock for a starter base before you can afford the mahogany and tile tiers. The Spanish Caribbean and Lost Tribe sets cover the same structural pieces in different materials.

• The set includes the core kit a house needs: a Foundation (Stone), Wall (Planks) and Wall (Stone and Timber), a Door, a Narrow Window, Plank Stairs (Planks), and Pillar (Timber) with matching Beam (Timber) pieces. Each placed piece spends the bit count shown above.

• Read papers at a base near your build menu rather than on a ship, so you can preview the new pieces immediately.
