Log Stool is a primitive seating decoration in Windrose, made from a short upright log section. It is one of the cheapest seating pieces available and an obvious early-game pick for a campfire ring.
Primitive furniture.
Place the Log Stool inside a player base within range of a fueled Bonfire. Comfort applies only while the stool is inside Bonfire range; placed pieces outside the radius give no bonus and decay over time.
Grants +1 Comfort in the Seats category, the same value as the Log Bench. Comfort bonuses inside one category do not stack, so a second Log Stool in the same room does not add another +1. To raise your total Comfort System score, combine the stool with different seating pieces and with furniture from other categories such as tables, canopies and banners rather than duplicating stools.
The Log Stool and the Log Bench are both unlocked by the Decoration: Log Bench and Stool plan. Both are members of the broader Seating category, which also includes the Bench and the Bench with Backrest.
Property | Value |
|---|---|
Item Type | |
Build Cost | 5 Wood |
Max Health | 3,000 |
Comfort | +1 Seats |
Keep every stool inside the radius of a fueled Bonfire. Seating placed outside the range gives no Comfort and slowly decays.
At 5 Wood it is the cheapest way to put a seat into an early campfire ring, so it is a sensible first build before you can craft sturdier furniture.
Because it shares the +1 Seats bonus with the Log Bench, pick whichever fits the space; the bench seats more characters in co-op while the stool tucks into corners.
